Just thought we could have a thread about various arenas and venues over the years, particularly in contrast to the current staging of WWE shows that make practically every arena look the same. Granted, a lot of that's because a lot of modern arenas -do- look the same inside, but I digress. I myself always liked the look of the Golden Dome in Monaca, PA that ECW used a decent amount, if only for how cool the architecture of the dome looked under the lights: Extreme Rising had a show there fairly recently too, for a modern comparison:

Really wish the WWE stole this idea and did a Spring Break RAW with the pool

I always liked shows in the Tokyo Dome. The super long elevated ramps just made everything seem like a big deal.

I love the Grand Ballroom in the Manhattan Center. The Hammerstein is cool too though, obviously.

The "World Famous" Sportatorium-it looked great for WCCW, USWA and Global.

I thought the old MSG with the short entrance ramp was always cool.

I really love the trump plaza for WM4-5 that long staircase going all the way down to the ring.

I liked the Omni in Atlanta in the late 80's where the wrestlers stepped down before heading to the ring.

There is an arena in Japan that I don't know the name of but I'm sure someone here does. All Japan used to run it probably about five years ago (Maybe still today) for their B-Shows or House Shows or whatever you'd like to call them. Anyway, it has this beautiful glass work and colourful patterned glass. The building looked so peaceful and nice kind of like a church.

The Shotgun Saturday Night venues were the best, especially Penn Station and Denim & Diamonds here in San Antonio.

I really love the trump plaza for WM4-5 that long staircase going all the way down to the ring. The only problem is that quite a few wrestlers tripped on the way down.

The Budokan
There is always this crowd shot before the main event where you can see the giant japanese flag above the ring. Is a mystical place

Not sure of the name of the place, but Dragon Gate recently ran a show here:
