What is your least favorite sport? The sport which you find the most boring? The sport that you cringe when you go to a friends house and he is watching it. For me it is soccer, but thankfully it is not popular in the US. Therefore, from the big 4 sports leagues, my least liked is basketball. It's too fast and there seems to be a foul every 30 seconds. It's also a one man sport, meaning that one person can highly affect the teams win percentage. I know most people would say baseball as their least liked sport, however, I have a soft spot in my heart for that sport, even if it can get very boring at times. I can not hate hockey, because it is a big tradition from where I am from. Football is the only team sport that I enjoy watching.

I would say baseball 90 percent of the time. Now the playoffs are good to watch, but I find it harder than all hell to give a good god damn about baseball in April.

hockey. baseball is boring until the playoffs, but hockey just does nothing for me to the point that I can't watch more than 5 or 10 minutes of it on TV.

There should be solid numbers that could tell us this. My guess is that (in the U.S.) hockey is easily the least popular, followed by baseball. Football is clearly number one based on money and ratings it draws. If I am correct about #4 and #3, that obviously would mean basketball is number two. This is just U.S. In Canada, clearly hockey is king.

Even though I love baseball... it's a damn chore to try and watch it. I can't set aside 6 out of 7 days a week to watch it for 3 hours a day. So that's my least favorite.
Basketball has more excitement (usually) and doesn't require such a time commitment. Hockey is amazing LIVE, that can't be last just because of that. And Football is great.
Soccer feels like watching the neighborhood kids chasing a paper plate blowing in the wind around the lawn for 95% of the game. That other 5% of the game is kinda fun though.

Baseball. There are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many meaningless games in baseball. Hockey has the allure of potential violence on every play.

Just a quick search shows that baseball was beating hockey in the ratings, but I didn't do an exhaustive search, nor did I compare business numbers like arena attendance and merchandise. Why do so much work?

Basketball. Because when it's a tight game, it's f***ing foul central and dives everywhere. Like I remember during the playoffs, a playoff hockey OT period ended before the final three minutes in a tight playoff basketball game. And the OT period started a few minutes later.

Basketball. I love baseball and hockey, I can see the appeal of football, even if I'm not a fan, but basketball just completely eludes me.

Basketball. Huge baseball and football fan, I enjoy hockey but don't really follow it. Basketball I just can't get into until the playoffs start.

Basketball, I tried watching a game last week and shut it off after 10 minutes. They need another official on the floor, the lack of obvious traveling and double-dribble calls aggravated me.

Baseball. It's the only sport I can't watch of the big four beyond my favorite team unless it's the postseason or a special occurrence, like a no hitter or perfect game. I can watch any football or hockey game and a good basketball game between two really good teams can be real exciting to watch. But baseball is too slow and convoluted for me to enjoy unless I feel really involved with the team playing.

Basketball and it's unfortunate. I want to like it but without a home team (I live in St Louis) I find it difficult to get into it. Weird reason I know. Baseball is my favorite though and will probably get into sports journalist because of it. After baseball it probably goes football then hockey.

American Football is such a drag at the pro level. Boring. Everything is illegal. Everything is a missed call that's overturned. And you're lucky to get three plays in a row in a series before play is dead and something interrupts the actual game of it all (penalty, timeout, consultation, review, etc.) It would be one thing if it were part of the science and/or finesse of the game. But it's just mind-numbing drags that are the interruptions.

Football - I love it, NFL or College it's my obsession....I live it!
Baseball - I enjoy it, I find it comforting and relaxing to have it on the tv. Season is way too long though.
Basketball - I appreciate the skill, but I find it far too repetitive to watch. I love playing the NBA games on the playstation though.
Hockey - Maybe it's because in the UK we get less coverage of the NHL than the other US sports, but I just cant stand it. Also, I have no idea where the puck is 95% of the time.

Basketball for me but I think mostly because there isn't no local teams to get behind. The closest is Chicago but that seems odd to be a Bulls fan when two out of the three St. Louis teams rival Chicago in Hockey and Baseball. Football not so much since there not playing every season and in a different division. It's not against the skills and sure there is a lot of egos but all sports have that.

NBA. The deal is I love college basketball but I can't get hooked to the NBA. The players are bigger than the game and it's more like a celebrity reality show than a sport. I use to love basketball when Michael Jordan was playing, so maybe I was spoiled as a kid. There won't be another Jordan so I wish the NBA would quit trying. I don't watch the NBA until around playoffs time, and even then it's only ok.
I would love the NHL if my area had a local team to get behind. I remember we had a small local hockey team that was part of a B league that my and my family would always go to and they were a blast. We went to half of the home games until the league went under. Hockey is the kind of game that it's amazing live but not so much on TV.
