Well, he finally discovered the preventit.ca commercials. On a more positive note, loved the tribute to the randy savage slim jim ads.

Booo at Doug's Pokémon hate. I was a fairly nerdy high school freshman when it took off, so I and a number of other kids enjoyed it without much shame (though with me it was mostly just liking the cartoon, and of that mainly for Team Rocket doing stupid shit).

I'd take his "never going to Canada" claim more seriously if he had never visited up here multiple times already.
Another fine installment of the commercials series. I was also glad to see him cover one of the greatest commercial spokesmen of all time: Segata Sanshiro. One of these days he should do an all Japanese commercial special. If North American advertising can be a little odd at times, man you haven't seen anything until you see what Japan has to offer.

Ayds.....who decided that would be a great name for an 80s candy. To be fair, it came out before AIDS really had a name and was a known national problem. He was a little off in his video, it didn't come out in the mid 80s, it came out in the 70s.

after long break, i had to watch this because Don Bluth was in it. And Doug didn't even have courtesy of advertising the kickstarter campaign. he just showed the kickstarter video thumbnail on his computer screen, and made Don Bluth a joke.. and 7 days left of the kickstarter, thanks Doug.

Yeah, Ayds was around for a long time. If you search Ebay you can find ads and posters for it all the way back to the late 40s.

If you think Ayds is bad, then you obviously havent heard of the cold medication "666". No, really, there was (possibly still is?) a cold remedy sold under that name.

Ayds.....who decided that would be a great name for an 80s candy. I'd seen them before but assumed they were from the 70s. who thought calling a candy that in the mid 80s was a good idea?
