That would be all fine and well if they had storylines and matches like in NXT, but it's the same old shit just with three better wrestlers. They haven't done anything special with them except for this week giving Paige and Charlotte the last segment on RAW, while it was a big step forward doing that the actual segment itself made a giant leap back with tasteless stuff. Sasha has been put completely in the shadows, although being undefeated (I think?). The Diva's Revolution is not ready for a PPV main event!

I disagree. To not fault of the women but the regular audience just wouldn't buy it. Not yet. They've been trained to not give a shit about women's wrestling for a long time. Gotta mend fences but this would be too much too fast.

Probably not the best week to call for this.

The Divas main eventing a PPV shouldn't just be something to be marked off the checklist.
It needs a worthy feud and match that deserves to headline a PPV. Charlotte vs Paige is not it.

How about we get a storyline and talent that the main roster audience REALLY cares about first?
Who's gonna main event a WWE PPV right now? Paige? Pfffffffffffffffffft.

It's not.
When Sasha Banks is the Divas Champion, in a meaningful feud with a competent opponent, then it's time.

When it's Sasha turn, and booking doesn't cripple her like it has to the rest of the division, then they will be ready.

It took 18 months and 7 Takeover matches before the Respect main event. It's going to be some time before the main roster will catch up.

Sasha vs Bayley is the only match I can see at that level.
And only with a good feud first

No, it's not. Few of the present women on the main roster are good enough to do it or and none of them are popular enough to pull it off.

Yea, no. It took NXT a while and proper build it to build their division up and even then they weren't closing the show. Bayley and Sasha was a well connected storyline and I don't see any divas on the main roster that has that well connected storyline not counting Charlotte and the rest of the Divas who got brought up.
One would hope and assume this period of time is where we start getting Divas matches given the proper respect and time to tell a story and show what they can do but only time will tell.

No, it's not. Few of the present women on the main roster are good enough to do it or and none of them are popular enough to pull it off. Sasha and Paige may be popular enough. A good story behind it, many weeks of buildup, and they COULD headline a B-PPV. Booking would have to be strong though, and therein lies the problem obvsl From a performance/worker standpoint, Charlotte, Paige, Sasha, Natalya and Becky are good enough, pretty sure that's general consensus

This is kind of like Punk only caring about wanting to go on last at WrestleMania. Or maybe this is a tangential comparison. I just think having a great women's division with PPV matches where the crowd is hot every month is a good goal. There's nothing wrong with being somewhere before the last spot.
I would be fine with the Diva's title match being last, has no effect on me, but might some of the crowd leave early if that happens? And in general, for it to be considered more important than every other match including the WWE title match would be tough. But if there's a particularly hot feud that feels important they could do it, like Dean vs Seth HIAC last year. But much like Dean vs Seth, I think it going on last is a bigger deal on paper than it is in reality.

Nah. Here's the steps they need to do first.
- Make a storyline that's compelling for people to really want to watch on the main roster, you know, like the image with Sasha, Charlotte and Becky all using their submissions when they debuted on the main roster, the first week was great but beyond that it went downhill QUICK - Let the Divas close a SD and have it be great - Let the Divas close a Raw and HAVE IT BE GREAT which is something that wasn't even CLOSE to what Monday was - Do all of these things at least 3 times each
and then
- Let Divas headline a ppv on the Network something similar to Ambrose/Rollins headlining Elimination Chamber which was a Network exclusive and if that works out then - Let Divas headline a C level ppv like Payback or something
and if that works
- Let the Divas headline a Survivor Series but only the 2 absolute best
That's as high as they're going to go and if they do these things in order it might work but if anything is slightly sub-par then it'll be horrible.

I got a Main Event for a WWE pay per view.
Bayley vs. Eva Marie. 1 Hour Iron Woman match.
Records would be shattered!

Too soon. If we can go a few months without Cole debating "who started the diva's revolution" then maybe. None of the women have characters or stories yet. They haven't given anyone a reason to care about the divas yet besides repeated shouting about what a revolution it is. Yeah these 6 woman tags and "jealously" storylines are tooootally innovative and new.
Also if they did it and it wasn't out of this world amazing or there was a botch or 2 then then they'd probably say screw it because casual fans would shit all over it.

A few of the women may have the talent but nothing else is "ready" for the divas to headline a non-NXT PPV, mostly due to the creative side of things.
