I would say she should remain a manager, but her character was killed when she split from Rusev and became a 1980's backing singer, so that's dead in the water anyway.

Undertaker's character wasn't killed when he became an oafish biker, stuff like that is often fixable in WWE. I thought Lana's character was doing okay with Dolph, at least she still seemed over, and I found it pretty funny stuff myself. She was pretty much a comedy character before too, just in a different way. I wonder if she'll keep the funny accent schtick her whole career. I like it, but it will make her kind of Santino-esque as opposed to being a serious character.

It allowed Taker to do something different, wrestle a faster style and cut decent promos for a change. Turning Lana from a heat magnet into a denim wearing bimbo did her no favours at all.

Not the kind of heat you're referring to though. She regularly got "We want Lana!" chants even when she was still a heel with Rusev. Her character was fun, and during the flag waving "SHUT TUP!" days sure she got some heat. But that one-dimensional act had run it's course. They evolved her into a more intentionally funny and likable character even before she split with Rusev. They switched from one brand of cheese to another, but to me at least that's character development, and somewhat creative. I can see why the serious (but over-the-top and funny) ice cold manager character would be preferred for some. I don't think that character became any more "bimbo"-ish just because she became positive and happy though. Is being a cranky shallow villain somehow a deeper level of depth and sophistication? I don't think so personally. Short version, I think they could go back to having her as somebody's manager if they want, maybe Cesaro, I dunno. But I wish her well in her wrestling thing. Just we're talking years before she'd be on par with the top talent, so it would be cool if she could manage somebody while also doing training.

I don't understand WWE's need to try and turn people into something they're not instead of just playing to their strengths. Lana was great in a managerial role, why does she need to wrestle? Just because shes being trained to wrestle doesnt mean that they're going to toss her into the running for the Divas Title or anything like that. Its a good thing as it will diversify her character in the long run and allow her to get physical and have it come off believably. The best managers ever all knew how to take a bump well, even guys who rarely got physical like Cornette and Paul E, they may rarely "wrestle", but they could take a bump. Vince was trained as well after a point b/c everyone realized he took the worst stunner in the history of mankind. The days of women like Elizabeth are largely over though. More power to Lana.

There's should be a sign in her gym saying "Charlotte 2 Is Under Construction".

She'll be fine as long as she remembers to step forward with the LEFT FOOT.

She was just the girl he walked to the ring with.

Don't hope so, but I got a feeling this will bomb badly

As long as she screams "LANA, CRUUUUUUSH!!" before her finisher. I want her to be a Carbon Copy of Rusev, wearing a full-body version of his trunks, doing running superkicks and yelling "CRUUUUUUUSH" before locking in the Accolade.

Don't hope so, but I got a feeling this will bomb badly Worst comes to worst, she just ends up managing, and even if she left WWE, the woman has like a bajillion skills. She's got much more of a safety net than most people they've had come through.

To be fair, most managers can at least bump and do some basic stuff. Plus I think it was Lana who pushed to learn. And if they put her back with Rusev, now they can do mixed tag matches.

Yeah she can act, but it's not like she has had huge roles anyhwere (little roles in Pitch Perfect 1&2) If those rumours about her having huge heat backstage are true, plus her and Rusev (allegedly, none of our business) spending tons of money on cars and their house (mansion?), I really hope the wrestling career works out for her

As long as Rusev is injured he could go back to NXT as well and be her valet/manager while he heals up. I always wanted to see a female heel with male backup.

Bring back Aksana and team her and Lana together. AksLana could be the new Bella twins.

I heard some story that she couldnt wrestle at all due to some kind of injury or something like that and thats why we never seen her working with other women until Summer Rae. She could either become a Melina (or Trish, although I hate that comparison) and go from great valet to great worker.. or she could bomb horrifically like Candice Michelle etc

She should play "All American girl" CJ Perry, while also reappearing as Lana alongside Rusev. Playing two characters and being totally oblivious to everyone else calling her out on it.
