He can still outwork half the roster (I admit incorrectness in declaring him done after WMXXX) and when used right can be fun. Granted I want him to basically face Cena and then retire before he turns to dust but considering he is the one thing WWE tends to no screw up, I'll welcome him.

I hope he's now done for good. That fued and match was crap and typical Taker selfishness.

I loved the match at Survivor Series. Will be sad to see him go when it comes time to be.

Well you are REALLY going to hate the 50th anniversary in 2040 Let's face it, when he dies the wwe is gonna just roll out his preserved body out to the ring. They'll attribute this to his dead man gimmick.

2012: "This has to be it for Undertaker. Perfect ending to his [and Triple H's] career." 2015: "For crying out loud!..."

I think what bothers me about him is the sheer awe I'm expected to feel whenever he's out there. Like you're committing some kind of sacrilege if you don't admire him doing the same entrance and routine for the 500000th time. Survivor Series honestly felt like he was some kind of god being worshiped. And comments like "he'll be gone soon, enjoy him while he lasts" don't work on me since I've enjoyed him in his prime years, which was a long time ago. I'm good, thanks.
He deserves respect for entertaining fans for years, don't get me wrong, but no more so than everyone else who does it. To me he's just a guy that's been around a long time and gets top guy status almost by default because of it. Every "era" of Undertaker had at least 2-3 guys that were bigger stars.

Taker can hang around for as long as he wants. I'm always glad to see him in the ring.

I swear, every single time this thread is on the first page, I read it as, "Please, NO MORE UNDERWEAR!" and wonder what the hell happened.

Have you not being paying attention over the past 25 years mrbananagrabber ? Every time someone says "I don't want to see the Undertaker anymore!" or "I am not afraid of the Undertaker!" or "Motorcycles are for jerks!" then suddenly the thread fills with spooky smoke and lightning VFX and then there's a coffin and you open it up and inside is a wax model of Diesel and you get scared. And then a few days later, long entrance, old school, chokeslam, last ride, triangle choke, tombstone, hotdog.

As I've said in another thread tonight? Is Taker a Legend? Yes. Is he one of the greatest of all time? Yes. Should every wrestling fan have nothing but respect for him? Yes. Does every show he wrestles on need to be turned into Undertaker appreciation night? No. Survivor Series is literally the first time this has ever happened. And I'm sorry I'm bias but when he came out at RAW in Manchester a few weeks ago me and a bunch of near 30 year olds turned into 10 year olds again. He can carry on for as long as he wants as far as I'm concerned.

At this stage the best use for him is helping give run to younger stars. The Bray Wyatt WM feud would have been a great example if they had actually made Bray look like a threat to Undertaker so that even in losing his status would have gotten a boost. But instead Undertaker can't even be bothered to show up on TV once and acknowledge his opponent? Made Brsy look like a complete chump.

He's an immortal MMA zombie. Why would he retire? He's got to do something in his free time, and he sure isn't going to take up knitting.
