We got to twenty five years. There is nowhere else to go, there is nothing else to do. He is boring as shit. We do not need him running over any more wrestlers twenty years younger than him.
Please. Let that be the end.

Yep. He got his book end moment. Let that be it. Or, if you absolutely HAVE to have him beat more people, let it be other old guys who it won't hurt as much to have Methuselah beat them.

I'm just tired of it having to be a super event with a grand entrance every single time he wrestles.

Without the streak, his career has no purpose at this moment. Unless he just becomes full time again and challenges for the title.

Oh, I would love to see more Undertaker. Problem is, either him, the top brass or some combination of the two think that just being in the same ring with him is putting people over. Therefore, I'm ready for his retirement at WM32.

Sad to see the "disrespect" of a legend. As I said in the thread this is his unofficial goodbye tour. He did the crowd pleasing spots and the fans were happy. Enjoy him before he hangs up the boots.

Long as he continues to pop the crowd, I'm afraid you're outnumbered.

People overstate the ever-loving-shit out of his age, acting like he has zero credibility. It isn't reflected in kayfabe, how fans perceive him, or actual performance. I wanted Wyatt's team to win, and I still think that's unfair.
Even still, though, I do want them to wrap up him and Kane and just kind of look for a graceful exit.

As I've said in another thread tonight?
Is Taker a Legend? Yes. Is he one of the greatest of all time? Yes. Should every wrestling fan have nothing but respect for him? Yes.
Does every show he wrestles on need to be turned into Undertaker appreciation night? No.

One more match, at Mania 32. Have him win, I don't care. Just...let that be the last of it, PLEASE.

Sad to see the "disrespect" of a legend. As I said in the thread this is his unofficial goodbye tour. He did the crowd pleasing spots and the fans were happy. Enjoy him before he hangs up the boots. The problem is that the Undertaker has been on his unofficial goodbye tour for years now, ever since he moved to a January to April wrestling schedule for Wrestlemania season, and even then he would hardly show up on half the shows during this time. Like last year, when the Undertaker didn't even to show up to Raw to help further the angle with Bray Waytt, as Wyatt sold that feud all on his own. There are fans who can respect the Undertaker and all of his accomplishments, all of his work for the wrestling industry, and just the same not want to see him be featured so prominently, let alone want to see him at all on WWE TV anymore. Exactly. What did Bray get out of feuding with the Undertaker during Wrestlemania season, really? A glorified squash match with no suspense, 'cause everybody knew Taker wasn't losing twice in a row, and then...right back down the card until it was time for ANOTHER go-round with Taker to a predictable result. And the smart money says? He's not gonna get any kind of bump off this one, either.

Well this was a good way to help with the send off
Hell, he's my ONLY connection to the wrestling I watched back in the day (the only active wrestler I mean, and he came in around the time I stopped watching religiously oddly enough)
I can just imagine in a few years when everyone will want the Wyatts and Ambrose to gtfo

No more Deadman Undertaker. If he has to be around let him just be himself or Bikertaker. There is no more mileage in that character at all.

Without the streak, his career has no purpose at this moment. Unless he just becomes full time again and challenges for the title. Pretty much this. I love Taker. I still mark for his entrance and get goosebumps when he shows up but even I am like "what is the point?". I don't even care that he's beating the younger guys, I just don't see how it makes the product any better. I mean, Taker is a draw for me but I'd rather see him just show up in storylines and shit than having meaningless repeat matches.

Honestly, though he has looked better as of late than he did in the years after the HBK/Mania double shot, I just think that they are taking chances with him, and he can only have quality matches with guys who are either superhuman (Brock) or tremendous workers.
Tonight I cringed when he obviously couldn't shoulder up Harper for Snake Eyes. The DDT was a good way to cover the botch, but his "all powerful" shtick doesn't work anymore. I swear I get uneasy when he puts up people like Brock and Harper for the tombstone, because it looks like his knees can't support that weight. I don't want anyone accidentally getting dropped on their head just because Taker wants to do his finish. It's a honor to be chosen to work with him, so you know the young guys who love the business will want to work hard for him to keep the gimmick strong. However, when your opponents have to carry the physical load for your offense to look good, it might be time to hang it up.
Don't get me wrong, I love and respect what Taker has done for the business. He's a legend no doubt. And I mean, I am a huge HBK fan, but even I started feeling like it was time for him to hang it up at the end there. If Taker continues past Mania, I think he will not only be putting his health and co-workers at risk, but he will also be getting into the "self-mark old timer" category that thinks he's still got some run in him. Taker needs to ride off into the sunset with the bad-ass aura he's earned in his tenure, not the vibe of "well he's still here, so we need to think up something for him to do."
