Well this event is gonna be ceremoniously shit on due to Sheamus but holy shit this was an awesome show. Roman/Dean was a great teaser for what these guys can do with more time, Roman spearing HHH got the crowd behind him finally, and Sheamus cashing in was awesome. It's about time we see the HHH/Sheamus gym buddies duo.
Owens/Ambrose, 5 on 5, and Reigns/Del Rio delivered as well. The Taker match was a huge disappointment but it served its purpose of "Taker appreciation night" well.
Good stuff all around.

" alt=" "] The true highlight of the show. Possibly the ONLY one.

As someone who looks forward to Survivor Series more than just about every other show, I have to say I thought this was mediocre. And that's being generous.

I watched a show with a world title tournament and the 25th anniversary of the Undertaker and the highlight was King Barrett pole dancing.

I really liked the show and am happy that Shaemus got the title in the end. Didn't see that ending as I was expecting a swerve. Interested in where they take the story.
I'm still thinking this will build with Seth turning on HHH and rejoining the Shield.

New Day was funny. I've seen worst PPVs, much worse in fact. This was pretty middling for the most part, but the crowd won their tickets in a crackerjack box or something and spent most of the show stewing, which didn't really help atmosphere much.

Overall I think a solid show, but like many of WWE's shows this year it suffered from the same thing; faltering towards the end with abrupt finishes that fall flat.

The show may have been good. Didn't watch, can't really say for sure. What I will say is that I was following along with the results on F4Wonline and as I went down the matches, I thought, "man, this looks like a pretty good show. I might have to watch this later." Then I saw that f***ing Sheamus won the title and it had me like:

The show was okay, the undercard matches were mostly good... can do without the Undertaker stuff, but christ that ending has really put a dampener on things for me.

I survived Survivor Series without falling asleep. Praise me. PRAISE ME! OI! This was Undertaker's night. How dare you expect praise on the same night it seemed everyone in the company dropped to their knees and kissed Taker's arse? Is Taker a legend? Absolutely. Is he one of the greatest characters ever? Undoubtedly. Do I have anything but respect for Mark Callaway? No. Does every show he wrestles on these days have to be turned into a fawning Undertaker appreciation night? No.

Typical WWE, "safe" booking, redundancy and taking any chance at changing the game to keep spinning their wheels.
Honestly I wouldn't buy a single PPV WWE has put out this year if I had to fork over the $40+ for them

Good matches, the tournament was predictable but I think the story is fine but let's take the Money in the Bank out forever now, it's completely f***ing up history, so many first time champions gone to waste. Crowd stunk, the pre-show match was atrocious and I don't know why they bother putting matches like that together but the PPV itself was enjoyable.

It was a fine show but that ending was ridiculous and so desperate to try and get Roman over in the worst way there was nothing to appreciate there. It's not even about Sheamus it's the fact we're supposed to believe Reigns is like Bryan and it's just hilarious.

Owens vs Ambrose was great (if a bit short), the five man was awesome until the New Day walked out and Charlotte vs Paige was pretty good albiet with a dead crowd.
Rest of the show was pretty bad otherwise

Yeah, yeah people are upset Sheamus cashed in and won despite him being good in the ring and doing fine since being heel. I'm just glad Ambrose didn't turn heel. Heck, I'm glad Roman didn't either. Yeah I'd like it if Ambrose got his chance with the Title but since he hasn't turned that's still a possibility for him soon.

thoughts from a fan that hasn't watched any wrestling in ages:
pre-show match was pretty pointless. decent enough match though.
Roman/Alberto: match ranged anywhere from decent to good, but no one really cared about either guy. not something I ever need to see again. Ambrose/Owens: match was solid, crowd woke up a little bit, but nothing spectacular and not something that I ever need to see again. Traditional match: had some cool spots. New Day/Barrett/Sheamus were pretty funny in the intro, Pole Dancing Barrett is the stuff of FAN legend, solid match overall kind of pointless though. Charlotte/Paige: well wrestled match that seemed to drag and didn't fit the heatedness that the story should have called for. They worked hard and had a good match but it didn't do much of anything for me. Breeze/Ziggler: I"m sure that it was a fine match, but I tuned out when it came on as I don't really care for either guy BOD/Wyatts: a nothing match for Taker appreciation night. If Taker is on his farewell tour it's harmless if he plans on showing up for the next 10 years it's pointless. decent for what it was. woke the crowd up a bit at least Reigns/Ambrose: decent short match Sheamus cash in: who even cares at this point.
Overall a mediocre and lifeless show that was just kind of there. I haven't watched wrestling in ages and I doubt that i'll be in any rush to resume viewing after seeing this one.

Most of the matches were too predictable and too short. Sheamus shouting "Let's Get Jiggy With It!" only to be shunned by his teammates was the best part of the show, and him winning the WWE title and now expected to be serious again is even more hilarious.

I thought this was a good show myself. i was a little disappointed that nothing happened with dean but it was still a good match. Even thought i thought the wyatts could have been booked better I enjoyed the match and the Undertaker's entrance. It was a good nostalgic moment and i got a kick out of the biker taker reference.
