Sheamus isn't making it past the Royal Rumble as WWE Champion. You don't take the one man people don't care about even less than Roman Reigns and giving him the uberlong title reign. This is exactly why he could end up holding it until mania and even retaining at mania. Because it's ridiculous and not something they should do.

I wouldn't mind this at all.
Better than wasting them on 2 matches with obvious outcomes, spoiling the rise of 2 midcarders full of potential.
A Roman vs Cena match wouldn't be that bad at all.
And whether we like it or not, Roman's the heir apparent, so might as well do the passing of the torch now and get it over with.
It's not the end of the world. We've been through worse, people.

The overwhelming opinion in 2010 when Miz won the title was that he wouldn't be holding at Mania. Granted, he was super over, but I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Sheamus is still holding the title in Dallas.

They gave Ambrose 9 minutes in the Main Event tonight, he's not going to win the title.

They look at Ambrose the same way they look at Bryan. Ambrose has gotten pops that Reigns can only dream about, yet most of the time he has been relegated to his sidekick.

They gave Ambrose 9 minutes in the Main Event tonight, he's not going to win the title. The story was that they were both pretty banged up from earlier in the night though. Still got Dean winning the Rumble.

Hopefully this would happen 5th or 6th match on the card. It'd be a great time to take a dump and you wouldn't feel rushed.

Nah. That Roman vs Dean match pretty much felt like a teaser trailer for a future match between the two. I'm thinking at Mania. I don't think so. I think they will save that for post-Mania and turn Ambrose heel for it.

for once the crowd would be completely united behind John Cena.

for once the crowd would be completely united behind John Cena. Honestly, yeah, you're probably right. It's hard to see there being a split there, because Cena has more respect from the older crowd and the kids are going to be inclined to side with him over the young upshot who isn't as established. I'm sure Reigns'd probably have some stragglers but I think that match would be like the Cena / Lashley one where the crowd cheers everything Cena does and is just silent for Reigns.

I'm hopeing Cena vs Taker.
But Cena vs Reigns is way better than Reigns vs Triple H. Lack of star power makes it hard to know what they will do.

Nah seem clear we are getting Roman vs Dean as they didn't even have a "regular" match they were on fast forward.
Though if we did get Reigns vs Cena I wouldn't mind seeing that match.
