WWE is stuck in this holding pattern and it's doing none of their performers any favors. We've had 3 straight MITB winners become champ and fall under the Authority thumb. It made the whole tournament feel pointless and although Roman will become champion again but he doesn't need a contrived Mania moment. I enjoy Sheamus in the ring and am not hating on him but I feel this was a time for them to change things up a bit but instead it's back to the copy and paste formula.
Well Sheamus reign won't be long but he will be quivering under the boot of Steph and HHH in due time. Do you believe there is a end game in sight or are they just spinning their wheels?

WWE Booking is the equivalent of The Song that Doesn't End at this point.

It's so bad. So very bad. The status quo went from being Cena to being the authority. Just lazy, brainless booking.

If WWE gave Trish Stratus a show on the WWE Network, they should call it the Stratus Quo.
...
That's all I've got.

It's like WWE was taken over by the shareholders who implemented a new AI system that books WWE. Unfortunately, it's the AI of universe mode in the video games.

Yea evil boss thing has played itself especially when WWE has run with that constantly and have shown Authority gets their way because their champ has been champion like 85% over lat few years.

WWE might as well bite the bulllet and have a heel called Status Quo who goes around making sure nothing changes:
-Authority is about to be ousted, but Quo interferes to save them. -Cena almost turns heel, but Status comes out and cuts a promo which convinces the former to stay babyface. -Lawler announces his retirement but Status Quo's threat to take over commentary himself compels King to stay. -An actual match starts Raw only for SQ to come out and insist on a 20 minute opening promo. -A diva shows a character beyond smiling babyface or bitchy heel only for Quo to chastise her and tell her to "tone that personality stuff down".
Heel of the century I tells ya.

Wonder what the odds are Money in the Bank next year is won by a heel who cashes in a few months later and promptly becomes Triple H's chosen one afterward. We've done it three years in a row now.
