Is it just me, or did he seem like he really wasn't into what was happening?
Like, at all.
Re watching it, I get a vibe from him like he wasn't particularly thrilled with it.
Like maybe he knew people were going to shit on it.

Probably upset because he didn't get his way. From what I heard, he was in the camp of "Turn Roman heel", but Vin Man was against it.

You try shaking a poser's hand when you know that someone's about to get jiggy on him.

"Great I'm going to be blamed for all of this mess. I should be getting ready for a fun trip to the UK with the NXT crew and..." *turns into the spear* " I still need to figure out which suits to bring and maybe pick up a new tie. Oh yeah, I need to call Lemmy back..." *shakes hands with Sheamus* "and find out where to send his tickets to. Ugh this town still stinks of WCW..." *raises Sheamus' hand* "I wonder if it is too late to get a steak"

Hunter's trying to make the product entertaining for people watching for the next ten years. Vince is trying to make the product entertaining for himself now. Every week the ratings go down, Vince is getting exactly what he deserves.

Triple H in real life has to deal with the same shit Corporate Kane did in storyline.

That's exactly what I thought myself and I didn't really pinpoint it until you said it. Something just seemed "off" about how he was in this whole thing. He was similar to Rock when he raised Roman's hand out there.

Hmm, yeah I can kinda see that looking back. Davey Boy Meltz did say that Triple H was pushing hard for Ambrose or Owens to win, maybe he was just pissed that it didn't happen his way?

Is this just everyone's way of pretending Triple H isn't as out of touch as Vince is?

Is this just everyone's way of pretending Triple H isn't as out of touch as Vince is? You can't seriously look at Triple H's brainchild and say that he's as tonedeaf as Vince. Sure, Hunter doesn't handle NXT alone, but at the end of the day, he plays the Vince role there. He has a way better handle on what works than anyone else sitting in upper management.

The guy who told him to get screwed when he offered him a free pass had just defied him and become the champion of his own merit and without The Authority's help, rendering the idea that you need to be the authority's guy if you want to be champion, useless.
Roman Reigns crapped all over the Authority, I don't expect HHH to be doing Charlotte style cart wheels down to the ring, everything I saw was in character.

All I saw was an actor playing a character that would have felt that very way.
Sometimes when you look so hard to see what you want to see, that's exactly what you see.

He was just selling the devastating effects of that awesome spear, plus he was miffed that Roman almost left as champ when that was the one thing H didn't want lucky him Sheamus showed up.

He was Head of Creative for the absolute balls-up that was Daniel Bryan's last three years of his career and for the Push Nobody Wanted at Rumble 2015. He may know better than Vince, but he's not some hero whose great ideas are being destroyed by big bad old man Vince.

We know who's really booking the show.

Is this just everyone's way of pretending Triple H isn't as out of touch as Vince is? H's project is arguably the best right now. Vince's only gets a pass on being the worst by TNA's amazing survival.
