Country music. It is some of the most beautiful, sad, and tear jerking music in the world. Sometimes it just puts everything into perspective.

Sometimes it sucks though, like when Toby Keith is responsible for it.

Good country music with the arrival of Garth Brooks.

I like some folk and country-influenced rock (Allmans, Dead, some Beatles, BRMC, etc.)...but I could never get into country music itself.

the older stuff is even more depressing, I put some records on cd for my Uncle a few years ago,and he had a Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner album with a song about a couple who went to a party, and their house burned down with their kids in it while they were gone. I think thats how it went

Anything old is great.
Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Elvis(if you count some of his older stuff), etc I love that kind of stuff.

I love country music, not much of today's stuff, but you take me to 90s with Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson etc etc, I'll take it! Rascal Flatts is pretty good for today also but that's about it.

Who's that guy these days who's covering Ryan Adams' "When The Stars Go Blue"? Whoever it is, he didn't change one single thing wiithin the song to try to make it his own.

I am a big old mark for country music, which tends to turn heads in downtown Chicago.

I will say, they do have a lot of meaning. My sister listens to it a lot so I hear the words. I just can't seem to care to listen often, or really like it.
Thanks Gretchen Wilson, i know hate an entire genra because of you. GOOD JOB.

I like some of the older stuff (Patsy Cline albums were my drinking companion for years), but, I swear some of the new women singing country make me want to shoot myself in the face with a nail gun over and over again. Gretchen Wilson sucks horribly, but since my neices love her I get to hear her blaired on the stereo frequently.
