My dream is over, the dream of becoming a professional wrestling was brought to a screeching halt today by my damn doctors. He told me my back would never be the same again. He said he doesn't see how I am not in constant pain (which technically I am). He says at my age I shouldn't have a back that looks like that of a 50 year old man (I am 23). If I keep up at the pace I am at my back will be seriously detoriated in a matter of 10 years. The X-rays and MRI's showed my spine was so twisted and messed up. But, I guess that's life.

what did you do to it? Was it just wrestling or something else? It was work related, I slipped on a concrete floor, caught some air and landed flat on my back.

That f***ing sux, man...what awful luck...I'm looking into training myself, but I have not yet really committed as I am older at 30, with two kids. So I don't know...I would love to dedicate myself and realize 110 percent is needed so I don't want to waste time if I can't make time for it. I hope you can find some way to sidestep this, be a manager perhaps?

I'm really sorry to hear that. Don't give up though! Maybe go see another doctor or two? Try to get a behind-the-scenes type job?

I hope you can find some way to sidestep this, be a manager perhaps? It's something I have thought about a little lately. Managing would be great, but the chance of being asked to take any kind of bump and landing wrong and hurting myself even more is not worth the risk.

Hey, so you can't be a great wrestler, you can be a great manager. Just think of it, better than Bobby Heenan, Mouthier than The Mouth of the south, more extreme than Paul E. Anyway, I feel your pain. I have a bad knee condition. I'm gonna try my best to work through the dislocations. The reason why it dislocates often is because of blood not getting to the knee right. It happens in many people and it usualy clears up in kids my age, but it hasn't yet and I might have surgery in a few months. Don't give up your dream of working in the world of wrestling man, I'm sure you can do something.

Condolences, this sucks. Did the docs give you any ideas what you could do to make your back better? I'm thinking yoga and pilates. Wrestling is a rough gig, people have differenmt tolerance points and the unintended accidental bumps always seem to hurt the most.

I have back problems.
It's from my shoes. I wear Converse all stars and they have no support so slowly, but surely it is messing up my back.
But I got support now so I can wrestle without getting a broken back.

Yeah my arm is pure pain due to a nerve problem, I have never tried wrestling but still do martial arts. I also have a foot problem which limits mobility in one and is painful, but it's all workable.
See a sports therapist for a second opinion if you want. I seen one, and he was more legit then my Dr.'s and my physical therapist found the problem and is dealing with it.
