I'm sorry, but I absolutely cannot stand DoA's aesthetic, and I say this as an unabashed boob loving heterosexual male.
I don't find it offensive as I do incredibly lazy and boring. And the fact that women in games, by and large, are written like hot garbage does make it sting a little more. I don't believe people should feel ashamed for buying, playing and enjoying the series, if that's your thing then have fun, but none of those articles are really wrong.
Give me SNK styled characters any day. At least with Mai's skimpy outfit they have the common sense to lampshade and poke fun at her.

In the end, though, we all have different opinions, and no matter what, people will argue why you are wrong. But that does not mean you shouldn't have to pick your hill to die on. If you want to enjoy a video game franchise like Xtreme, you're more than entitled to. Nobody should really be insulting you over your preferences before we all have different likes and dislikes. What I had meant to discuss was the fact that in an argument, we often go after the obvious thing that some people may have problems with and not discuss the real problems, if you think there are any. Fair enough. As I said before, I'm not even a big fan of the Xtreme games, I just don't find them offensive is all. I don`t even like Dead or Alive(which one can argue is offensive) much less Xtreme ,so i`m on the same boat
