When during the December 3rd, 2012 edition of Raw, Teddy Long did the unthinkable and undid a tag team match.
For those of you who don't remember the moment, R-Boom was scheduled to face Cesaro and Wade Barrett in a tag team match, when Teddy Long (who wasn't even the GM of Raw) came out and decided to turn the match into a fatal four way match for no reason at all. Unfortunately it's tough to find video of this moment, but this is the 3 year anniversary of this unimaginable time in WWE history.

That's the day Teddy Long lost his love for the business.

I miss Teddy Long. I wish he could have appeared during a Wyatt promo to let them know they'd be going 1-on-1 with dah Undertaker...and his brother Kane in a tag team match!
...
I don't care if it doesn't make sense.

I really thought the smoldering sexual tension between him & Stephanie at The 15th Anniversary Smackdown was leading somewhere.H must have axed it.

I still say the R-Truth / Kofi team should have been called Spare Boom.

Teddy was hands down the most entertaining gm Yep. Outside of those horrible Aksana segments that dragged on with no point for like a year, Teddy was always a ton of fun. Really underrated talent. I even loved him pre-GM, doing the White Boy Challenge. I'm not a big fan of race-bait angles like that but he was so damn entertaining doing it that they probably could have gotten more mileage out of it (or at least used it as a launching pad into more general heelishness) if it had been a push for anyone but Rodney Mack. They started it out with D'Lo, one of my favourites, and a great, equally entertaining and underrated talent (IMO) so he was promptly fired. Then comes Mark Henry who I recall showing a bit of the intensity he'd come to really get amazing at years later, but he gets hurt pretty quickly. So he gets replaced by a generic hoss who's awful in the ring and can't speak at all. At least it gave more television to his far more talented wife Jazz, who was way too awesome to be as forgotten as she is. Hell, they could have easily gotten more mileage out of just Teddy and her as a duo. Point being, I'm a huge Teddy fan and I wish he was still on TV.
