I wish they would reduce Raw back down to two hours. Three hours of content on one night and two more a few days later is such a giant beast to feed every week, especially when they don't use the entire roster. That's how they end up with a 20 minute waste of a final segment like Monday night.

Here's a wild idea. Listen to the crowds and book accordingly. Here's a wild thought, live crowds don't speak for the millions of people in America. Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Lex Luger, Sting, etc. were really popular with fans in arenas, but none of them drew. So, by going "OMG LISTEN TO THE FANS!" well, those fans who you want them to listen to, aren't necessarily in tune with how the rest of the country feels.

They seem to see certain people get popular and discredit it for reasons. Sometimes those reasons might even be accurate. However, they should still roll with people who get popular, even if they're not sure. If those reasons for not pushing them are legitimate, they will eventually show themselves. In the meantime, you're not actively pissing off crowds and creating this hostile relationship between the office and fans. It's almost like they like it.

Bro...I don't even.... I know, right? 17,000+ people weren't drawn to the big Starrcade '97 show due to the build-up of Sting chasing Hogan. There's this thing called context - did Luger, Diesel or HBK draw in "New Generation"-era WWF? No. Almost nothing in the New Generation drew. But Luger drew in WCW at times, when built up properly before that. Diesel drew really damn well once he was booked in an interesting way in WCW. HBK helped draw 19,000 to Wrestlemania 14. When the product and stories are there, those guys can draw. Pigeon-holing them due to WWF's overall worst period doesn't really say anything other than, like now, at the time McMahon didn't know what the fans wanted.

Really, I don't think it's that difficult to fix. Listen to the fans, if they are cheering for someone, push them. Regardless of whether Vince, Steph or whoever wants them on top.
Also, play to the wrestlers strengths. Reigns can't cut a promo to save his life so stop trying to turn him into the Rock. Just keep him as a badass, man of few words. Not a man who talks about tater tots and magic beans. In fact, stop giving wrestlers lines what they wouldn't say in real life without looking like a knob. If a grown man before a fight called someone Sufferin Succotash Son he'd lose any credibility he had.

By that theory, guys like Randy Orton and Triple H should be considered big draws, but you'd have to pull a lot of peoples teeth to get them to admit that. The facts are, Nash didn't draw when they built the promotion around him. Did he draw in the nWo? Yes, but that was a collective unit. People wanted to see the nWo, not Nash specifically. By that logic, we can call Virgil a draw. We can call X-Pac a draw, we can call Big Show a draw. Luger's drawing ability was hindered in the late 80s when they failed to capitalize on his initial post Horseman babyface turn momentum and put the belt on him, followed by numerous face/heel turns. Shawn wasn't a draw when the promotion was pushing him. Hell, he was getting Roman Reigns/John Cena type reactions from the male fanbase. Sting didn't draw during his early championship runs, then any chance for him to have long term drawing power years later was killed off due to that lame finish with the Hogan/Sting Starrcade match.

The thing is, you have to figure that Triple H does have a list in his mind of what he would change to try and fix things, the problems he sees and perhaps even the ones he knows are common complaints about the product, some of which he may even agree with. But because everything is Vince and Vince won't like those ideas, he kind of just has to throw his hands up and say "nope we don't know how to fix it", because it's not like anything is ever going to change.
And it's not a matter of whether you feel the guy is going to be a good hope for the company or not. He gave a very political answer that any executive in any company kind of has to give, because otherwise, he would be undermining the head honcho and that looks like bad business. He sort of has to give an answer like this, because anything else looks bad for both the company, and on him in general as an executive.

I think one of the main problems in the show is the format. Every show seems like a cookie cutter copy of the last show.
I can see Vince (and Dunn) liking the format and HHH and creative having trouble making the show seem "fresh" while still staying inside those guidelines.

Is there somewhere else other than Rajah reporting this? I don't disbelieve this, I'd just rather this not be from frickin' Rajah and I don't want to give them any clicks.

Even with down ratings, RAW is pretty much the best thing they have since all their popular shows ended, all they have now is Suits and Mr. Robot

One thing that would help would be letting Reigns have the belt. Probably won't improve the ratings past a month, but it can get the ball rolling. If he wins in the main event at the Rumble it leaves it to be won by someone else. Let Ambrose or Ziggler (or heck, Big E or Kofi) win it, so that WrestleMania won't be a foregone conclusion anymore. Supposedly according to those other reports, they already scrapped the plans they had. Judging by how we haven't been having dirtsheets updated on here about WrestleMania I'm guessing its true. Hopefully, they won't just do Reigns vs Sheamus Round 5 at WrestleMania 32 next year. Of course, even if they do that there's still the matter of the Divas and the midcard. But at least they have some building blocks already for both. You have Charlotte turning heel which might open the door for Becky to move up, plus how well they've been showing Sasha lately. Heck, they even almost seem to be making Team BAD into the New Day of the Divas which is actually a great idea. And they've done a much better job with the U.S. and IC Titles as Del Rio and Owens haven't been jobbing outside of tournaments. Is there somewhere else other than Rajah reporting this? I don't disbelieve this, I'd just rather this not be from frickin' Rajah and I don't want to give them any clicks. PWInsider, Wrestling Observer, ProWrestling.net and so on. USA forced both the third hour and The Authority on them. Steph and Hunter don't really care about being on TV anymore, they've been barely a major presence this year. They didn't even show up on this week's RAW or several RAWs after this past WrestleMania. USA has been on their butts way too much, and now are complacent with them because WWE are one of the only things holding up their precious #1 Network status. Heck, I don't even know for sure that Suits and Mr. Robot have doing that well in the ratings either.
