Big Match John or Seth Rollins?
Feel free to post other wrestlers that you think can contend but I think these two were a level ahead of everyone else this year. Who do you got?
Cena's US Open Challenges will be talked about for years to come. Both were involved in the Rumble 2015 triple threat. Rollins was fighting bad booking for most of the year with the power of great wrestling and got a great to decent match out of everyone he worked with.
Its neck and neck but I gotta give the edge to Cena. Seeing him participate in indy-esque spotfests has just been a mindf***....and pretty cool.

Cena. Would say Rollins if he wasn't booked to look like an incompetent joke.

Cesaro had a bunch of compelling ~4 minute matches, which is so much harder to do than a 20 minute finisher fest. He's my pick.

Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens, John Cena, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns would be my WWE top 5.
AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Roderick Strong, Zack Sabre. Jr. and Kota Ibushi round out the rest of the wrestling world.

I've enjoyed Big Match John's matches more than Seth's this year.
For me it's Cena, Seth, Cesaro (more for consistently good matches rather than individually great matches), Owens and then Reigns.

My 2 favorite main roster matches would be Seth vs Lesnar vs Cena & Seth vs Cena at summerslam.I'll give it to both Seth & Cena because it would be rude to choose one over the other.
Nxt-Sasha.
Japan-Aj Styles.

That is tough to call. I want to say Rollins just based on his incredible performances at SummerSlam and Night of Champions, but then I went back and looked at what Cena has done. Not only was he the other half of those Rollins matches, but his series with Owens and match with Sami Zayn were incredible.

You could go with either Cena or Rollins, but I think I'd go Cena. I understand the argument for Sasha. She had the Takeover special matches, but Cena and Rollins had more big matches throughout the year.

Sasha Banks and Bayley both deserve a lot of credit for their amazing matches together but I think its too much to call either one wrestler of the year. Im (obviously) a big fan of both but outside of their matches together they only had one or two good-great matches (both were involved in the four way and both also had great matches with Becky. Sasha faced her at Takeover and Bayley faced her in a No 1 contenders match. Other than those, I cant really think of any great TV matches)
The likes of Owens, Cesaro, Cena and Rollins all had fantastic PPV matches as well as MOTY candidates on Raw.
Sasha Banks vs Bayley at Takeover: Respect is probably my match of the year and im a huge fan of the four horsewomen, but I think the likes of Cesaro and Rollins deserve Wrestler of the Year more than any of them
