I think the best one was an older Santa who had this couch type set up so you didn't actually have to sit on his lap.
Also, I remember one of the Santa's was actually a dick. My brother took me that year and one of his friend's accidentally knocked over part of the setup, which was like a giant box made to look like a present. The kid blamed it on me and Santa believed him! Sees all, my ass!

when I was little instead of Santa our mall had Poncho Claus.

There was a couple, I had no idea who they were of course, but my parents and I'm sure most adults around town knew them and for a couple of years or so they showed up at my house as Santa and Mrs. Claus and always surprised my brother and I. Turns out they did that for a lot of families, just as a nice, sweet gesture for Christmas. |
