I'm talking of course about the one that is now famous for being the theme to Hulk Hogan's Rock'n'Wrestling.
I loved it-it got me pumped, and that was just to watch a cartoon. I'm sure it would have worked well in arenas, although I know we can't imagine anything but Real American now.
But was "Hulk Hogan's Theme" ever used publicly?

IIRC, Hogan entered the ring using that song on an episode of Championship Wrestling (the show that used "Thriller" as the opening theme). Here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=UY4wuo93_68

the video for Real American debuted in March of 1986 so I would assume Hogan used the "Hulk Theme" from just before/just after the release of the Wrestling Album (November of 1985) to just before the release of the video. not sure how long before though.
*Edit*
Found video of Hogan/Bundy from the Philadelphia Spectrum in February of 1986 (VHS transfer, not WWE edited version) and Hogan enters to "Real American" there

He used the theme until the US Express / Mike Rotunda left I guess.

Didn't he use that theme in Japan?

Even with 'Real American' working for Hogan, I'm amazed they didn't repurpose the theme for another wrestler. When you've got Jim Steinman writing a track for you, take advantage. Heck, once Steinman turned it into 'Ravishing' for Bonnie Tyler, ask him if you can use it for Rick Rude.

It was the theme for the Hulk Hogan cartoon. He did use it, but I don't think he used it very often. Likewise, the U.S. Express did use 'Real American' but I'm pretty sure they only used it very briefly before WWF gave it to Hogan instead. The theme Hogan used in Japan (at least in the early 1980s when he was a big star there) was a completely different theme. He used 'Eye of the Tiger' later on in Japan.

It made it on the "Hulkamania 2" VHS tape with a Hogan/Bundy match from Boston
