So remember a month or two ago when Meltzer was reporting that Triple H wanted to win the Rumble and challenge Rollins? I'm getting a sense of the big Triple H revenge angle feeling with Reigns. I mean we're a month away from the Royal Rumble and Reign's feud on TV is with Steph. Who else makes sense to win the Rumble and challenge Reigns? The League Of Nations? Nope. The only other people I could think of that really makes sense are Lesnar and Cena.

I'd rather it be HHH than Cena (Or anyone but Cena really) but with that being said that sounds like yet another Rumble Result that will have the whole Arena booing WWE out of the place...

I read a news/z story the other day that said Triple H v Reigns was being discussed as a possibility for WM, but either as a straight-out Bryan redux (title match v Triple H opens, then winner of that against the Rumble winner in the main) or a non-title grudge match. Nothing about Triple H actually winning the Rumble itself.

I'd gladly take Hunter winning the Rumble over Cena.
Anyone but Cena.

Well around two years ago we were seriously looking at Orton/Batista as our Mania main event.
I don't think it could be much worse than that.

So long as Roman went over I'd be ok with it. It would at least be a very good match in all likelihood.

I'd be completely fine with it. IMO, Triple H has never been this good in the ring and I want as many great, fresh matchups from him as we can get while we can. So long as the story isn't the exact same as Bryan vs Triple H (which was a modern classic and a five star match, I think) I'm all for it. Hopefully it sends The Authority packing.

Roman vs. HHH in the opening match where Roman goes over in 10 seconds, oh yeah, if Hunter loses the Authority must disband plus he & Steph can't be on TV for at least 18 months

Whether it was Seth or if it is Roman (which I doubt), I have no doubt they'd have a classic and Hunter would put them over like no one else in the company could. He freaking loves those two.

Dean should win the Rumble and have an IC champ vs WWE champ where he and Roman beat the crap out of each other. No turning on the other, just a knock down drag out contest that emphasizes how important the WWE title is to them.

I'd do it as a non-title match because surely no one believes Triple H is getting the belt at WM. That's one of the main reasons why I was so confident in the Bryan match, I knew Bryan wasn't losing that.

I honestly wouldn't have minded Orton vs Batista for the title at WM30 if it was relegated to the co-main event and HHH/Bryan closed the show. And I wouldn't mind a HHH/Reigns grudge match if it means some other wrestlers get to play with the belt instead. The only way that Reigns will continue to have this goodwill is if other people get to do "main event-y" things too. Putting all their eggs in one basket hurt hem before and it will hurt them again if all their other popular faces are shoved into a filler eight man tag with the League of Nations or the Wyatts or something.

Well at least that would be the desired result of the winner. That or a collective *GULP* from the audience when the realize the ultimate ass kicker is back! Roman vs. HHH in the opening match where Roman goes over in 10 seconds, oh yeah, if Hunter loses the Authority must disband plus he & Steph can't be on TV for at least 18 months It's cute that you seem to have convinced yourself that those stips would hold. Counting post/pre shows & highlights, she'd barely make it through 18 hours...

Orton/Batista was meant to be the "greatest Wrestlemania match ever," or something along those lines. Big Dave holding the belts was supposed to be the closing image of that show.

Wow, they really, really, really misread the fans then. OT: If it's his last match, eh, why not.

At this point I'd rather HHH than Lesnar. I'd rather someone who actually gives a shit and shows up rather than Heyman having to do all the hype work and cut the same promo he's been doing for a year and a half while Lesnar shows up three times in six months.
If the choices are HHH, Cena or Lesnar? Horrible choices all, but I'd pick them in that order.
