Ok Since there is a thread on prehistoric creatures, What about a creature that might be real?Big Foot could be real and we have not seen it yet. The mountian Gorillas in Africa seemd fake for a long time untill the last half of the 20th cent. So Whats yalls stand on Bigfoot. Me im in the middle. I know most those videos look fake as hell. But some of the audio rcordings seem verry strange, IDK it could be anything. www.bfro.net/AVEVID/MJM/Howl.mp3www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nq2hpPGy0o0www.bfro.net/where do you guys think of bigfoot.(the creature not the monster truck)

The original Big Foot video really can't be fake.......the fur/hair movement is too natural to be a costume, plus you can see the muscles moving under the skin......quite a few of the other videos, however.....most likely are fake...

I personally am much more concerned about the Loch Ness Monster. Is he a dinosaur? Is the loch being polluted?

I am more well read on the Florida Skunk Ape.
But my friend and I got a gorilla costume, and proved how easy it was to make it look real.
The really famous one does look hella real though.

I know you're going to think I'm lying, but this report: www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=3631Takes place really close (as in within a mile or two) to where I saw...something...in like 1998, I think. I'm not saying it was bigfoot, but there was definetly something friggin HUGE skuling around in the woods when I was driving down the highway.

Like Megalodon, Bigfoot very well may still exist. There's soooo many acres of deep dark forest, anything is possible.

That famous footage just screams 'guy in a suit' to me because of the way its moving. It / he's just kinda nonchalantly strolling along. I imagine that an unknown creature would be moving differently to the way humans move, and definitely more slowly and cautiously if it was aware of a strange presence in its environment. It would've either run away from or attacked what it most likely would have viewed as a potential threat.

yea this is what wikipedia says about that video
* Arm length (measured to the fingertips) as a percent of height: The percent for the human mean is 44%; the creature's percent is 49%, which is 5.5 standard deviations from the human mean and is present in only .00019% of humans. Finger and hand flexion is observed in the film, which implies that [any arm-extending] prosthesis must support flexion. * Leg length (measured to the sole) as a percent of height: The percent for the human mean is 53%; the creature's percent is 46%, which is present in only .1% of humans. * Foot morphology: Figure 13 shows the foot undergoing flexion, which demonstrates that the foot is not a solid, inflexible prosthesis. Separate toes are visible. "Key features of the foot ... resemble the plaster cast taken by Titmus." * Face morphology: The jaw of the subject is below the shoulder line, as in a gorilla. * Body morphology: Unlike inexpensive costumes, the subject has non-uniform hair texture, non-uniform coloration and non-uniform hair length. * Kinematics: "The knee theta of the film subject shows a more gradual transfer of weight rather than a [human-type] separate phase" combined with the absence of the bobbing head typical of human locomotion. * Moving muscle groups: Groups of muscle in motion can be seen, in the arms, back and legs. "Also seen is a structure similar to a knee cap, the shape of which changes like a human knee."

I studied anthropology this year, and we studied al the cryptozoology creatures, like Bigfoot, loch ness, and Mokele Mbembe. From what I studied this year, I think personally that it was a man in a suit, I remember a big indication of that was how the breast was on the thing. I don't really remember much, but pretty much the whole class was convinced it was fake at the end.

Well, even if it was just a man in a suit, there is something big out in the forests of America.....some of the foot prints that have been found have varrying foot ridges(similar to the bottom of our feet), that would take WAS too long to make a fake pair of big feet, meaning there is something big out there.

Thanks to whomever posted on Mokele Mbembe. That Tsari Rex, all the Loch Ness Monsters (Nessie, Bessie, Champ, etc.) and others are modern day dinosaurs.
That, and can we count the Coelocanth, even though tons have been found alive today?

That, and can we count the Coelocanth, even though tons have been found alive today? I am surprised this was not a bigger deal, because apparently they are reproducing in the wild like it was 19 million B.C. I always remember this dinosaur fish because it was discovered on my mother's birthday. It' NOT really a fish, I tells ya!
