Is there anyone besides Samoa Joe who has worked multiple matches for all 3 promotions in the same calendar year? I feel like I'm forgetting someone obvious, but I can't think of anyone.

I know Chris Daniels came really close to working all 3 within a 365 day span (albeit not a calendar year) between July 2001-July 2002, just missing out by about a week. Is there anyone else who's came close, or actually accomplished the feat?

Still digging: Jerry Lynn worked WWE until Aug 2001, one match in ROH in June 2002 and TNA regularly from June 2002...

AJ Styles in 2002 and CM Punk in 2003. Probably a few others during that time period since TNA and ROH used a lot of the same people and a good amount of those guys also had a match or two on WWE C shows.

Not calendar year, but Christian worked a Smackdown taping on October 30th, 2005 (tagging with JBL, losing to Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio), Turning Point 2005 (defeating Monty Brown), and ROH's How We Roll event on May 12th, 2006, so that comes damned close.

Did Matt Hardy ever hit all 3 in the same year around that 2010-11ish window?

I'd just gotten to Styles now after eliminating a few others. Thank you! I knew there was some extremely obvious ones that I was missing. In my defense it's 10:18am New Years Day here and I haven't slept yet... I think on that note I'll turn in now. EDIT: Wait, DID Punk work WWE in 03? Are you sure?

Raven in 2003 (started in WWE, got released, then worked in TNA/ROH that year regularly).
He also managed to do the Daniels non-calendar year of 2000 (WCW, ECW, WWF).

Matt Hardy's gotta be close, right? Matter of fact, what about Jeff, where does THAT ROH match fit into things on his timescale?

The first name that came to mind was Kazarian, but he went to PWG after leaving WWE in 2005.

Outside of Raven and Rhino, who else were big parts or heavily featured in all three companies?

Outside of Raven and Rhino, who else were big parts or heavily featured in all three companies? Yet Raven still leaves Rhino in the dust as the only wrestler to have action figures made of him in 4...FOUR different companies! (I know he's done that in a promo a time or two...please tell me I'm not imagining that.)

Rick Rude wins for being in ECW, WCW and the WWF within 3 days of each other. Not to mention the infamous RAW/Nitro same night thing.

James Storm was in TNA & NXT at the same time almost. Corey Hollis I think was in NXT & ROH within a few weeks of each other. And I think Tommaso Ciampa was on NXT & TNA within the same time, too.
