I love how Brad Maddox looks like he's just through. Like even he knows the reason he was fired is bullshit.
Speaking of, when was he blonde? I don't remember that.

It was only for about a month or so before his release. Came out as "Joshua Kingsley" for a few weeks, got tombstoned dressed as a Turkey, called someone a cocky prick, and he was done.

No mention of Devin Taylor, Seth's Nazi girlfriend and one or two NXT jobbers who's names I can't remember.

It didn't seem that long ago since CJ Parker left.

Gabriel - Quit mid-tour Rey - Tried and tried to get out of his contract before letting it run out AJ - Retired Parker - Asked for his release Hogan - Fired Layla - Retired Gunn - Fired Crowe - Asked for his release Maddox - Fired
Wow, WWE really doesn't 'future endeavour' anyone in the traditional sense anymore (apart from developmental guys who've barely appeared on TV, none of whom are mentioned in the vid). I suppose instead they kind of freeze people out in the hope they see the writing on the wall and ask to go (as seemed to be the case with Crowe and Parker) or fire people they don't see a future in at the slightest provocation (safe to say if even a prominent midcarder said 'cocky pricks' in an unaired promo they'd probably get off with a warning).

I opened this thread and the first thing to load was Seth Rollins' maniacal grin. Thread would have been perfect with just that.

Literally the only active wrestler dropped early was Maddox. That has to be a record.

Seems a bit bitter - even by Vince standards - to include Rey and AJ (and Layla as well I guess) in what is essentially a list of fired people when they actively wanted out whilst WWE wanted them to stay.
How long do we expect that to be the last appearance of Hulk Hogan on WWE? If he never comes back at all, then that's a quite the note to end his career on...

WWE will likely stay away from Hogan for a while. From then, it's up to him to keep his mouth shut (a big if, in this situation), and when he does come back, it will likely be very limited. If nothing else, he should be reinstated to the Hall of Fame. One thing I'm keeping my eyes on, is if the Freebirds will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. It would be a huge double standard if they retroactively toss Hogan for using the N-word, and then less than a year later, have Michael Hayes as the sole surviving member of a team on stage accepting his induction. His use of the word was open for years; I believe it was even one of the reasons why Bobby Lashley quit.

Maybe to balance the budget they've deliberately found the perfect formula for talent depreciation that they leave on their own volition at a steady enough rate and they don't have to look like the bad guys by firing anyone anymore.

If this is why they seem to use the lowercard much less than before, I'd be pissed. Then again, it doesn't seem to be working all that well.
