Las Vegas police are investigating an allegation of battery against R&B singer Chris Brown.
Lieutenant Jeff Goodwin says authorities received a call shortly before 10.30am on Saturday (local time) about the alleged battery at the Palms Casino Resort.
Goodwin would not release any details about the allegation, saying the investigation is still going on.
Brown's lawyer and publicist did not immediately return messages seeking comment.
Brown was freed from felony probation last year, more than six years after he attacked then-girlfriend Rihanna. The singer pleaded guilty to felony assault in that case.
In September last year, Brown's scheduled December tour of Australia was cancelled when the Australian government refused him a visa based on his domestic violence record.
Following the decision, the R&B singer took to Twitter, saying he believed his mistakes were a "wake-up call" and he wanted to teach young people about the danger of domestic violence.
"I would be more than grateful to come to Australia to raise awareness about domestic violence. I'm not the pink elephant in the room anymore," he tweeted.
"My life mistakes should be a wake up call for everyone. Showing the world that mistakes don't define you. Trying to prevent spousal abuse.
"The youth don't listen to parents nor do they listen to PSA's. The power that we have as Entertainers can change lives," he said.
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said at the time: "Decisions on whether a visa will or will not be issued are made after that timeframe and consideration of the material presented to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection."
