Really fun night... sting and the freebirds were great and i really enjoyed bossman getting the honor. Hall of fame, NXT and ROH have all been excellent so far this weekend, hope maina and the follow up raw can follow suit.

The shitty Network stream froze and repeated on me like seven times during Steve's speech. That doesn't bode well at all for Wrestlemania. . What seems to work for me is watching live stuff about 3-5 mins behind. Not even a single hiccup tonight. What also works for me is shutting my xbox off and re-logging in. I'm on Xfinity which is wonky sometimes no matter what you do. This is pretty much what I do anymore. I watched Takeover about 10-15 minutes behind everyone else and had zero problems.

Reportedly Lauper was under consideration for the 2013 Hall of Fame which was in Madison Square Garden. They ended up going with Donald Trump. I don't know if they ever asked her, but she was really busy with her Broadway show Kinky Boots during Mania season that year. Wow, I'm sure they don't regret the result of that coin flip in hindsight...

Sting just told a story of Seth Rollins trying to chase him down as the ambulance was driving him away. "Yeah, to finish the job." (Can someone post the Heenan pic so I can edit it in above that? Can't be bothered searching the thread) There you go. Also: WILL YOU BE SERIOUS, I'LL HAVE YOU REMOVED!

Do Sting, Snoop Dogg, and Jacqueline actually get inducted, or does this Stan Hansen acceptance speech just take up the rest of the show?

If you think Hansen runs long, prepare yourself for the Freebirds. Prepare. Yourself.

I only liked the big Ric Flair rally... I don't know what Sting was doing there though.

I didn't manage to watch Snoop or Sting's speeches BUT Freebirds will take up a whole lot of your time. A whole lot. Whereas Godfather and Jackie only got to speak for like 3 minutes

You know the "make my head explode" moment of the Hall of Fame was? At the end of the pre-show with Renee, Maria, and that new girl....they all looked amazing...like, I'd have to struggle just to say hello to them, they looked so good....and they were all hanging out with the crown prince of Dorkland, Byron Saxton.

Hansen didn't even talk that long, I'm surprised people were getting annoyed with the length.
The Freebirds literally had an opening dance number and a closing music number. A lot of people liked it, I did not. The first 10 minutes or so after the opening dance were pretty good though.

The sign they'll use when Roman comes out tomorrow. Ok, anyone from the forum, find some boards and make Applause signs for Roman's entrance, hand them out to other people, this could be an awesome thing.

Why do they have to tell people to cheer? Shouldn't that come naturally?

I thought the Hall of Fame was great, and I was one of the people who thought on paper the class looked a little weak. I usually enjoy the Hall of Fame every year though because it's fun to see the legends, hear some stories.
I don't get the hate from some people every year about the length of the speeches. For a lot of these guys it's one final hurrah in the business. One last chance to soak it all in, and I think they deserve that. And if every year you find yourself bored by the speeches then maybe don't watch it next year.
