If the Rumble doesn't have all the guys in it eliminating Reigns to make sure they have a New Champion it is really REALLY dumb... But, why would it matter? He has just as much odds as the other participants. If they want to go that route, they can have Vince offer a hefty bonus for being the one to eliminate Roman like he did with Austin in 1999.

It was vacant in 1992 so that would not be a defense. HOW DARE YOU NOT CALL IT A DEFENSE!! IT WAS A DEFENSE BY THE GREATEST CHAMPION IN THE HISTORY OF PRO WRESTLING!! VACANT!!!! Nah, he only holds the title when it is in abeyance. It was vacant that year, it is the Fliehr Addendum. Aww shit. Hunter is winning the title as entrant 31. I am a fan of his and I hate that. That's the other option they can do if Cena doesn't win. Or, a third one, Lesnar comes down to take back his belt that he was never pinned for. Out of Cena, HHH, & Lesnar, I want to see Cena win. I wouldn't mind Lesnar but man, I hope they don't go with HHH. That's really not the match Roman needs on that show, I think. Yeah but that just lets him get his rematch at Mania, which is completely not what I want, lol. Him defending is fine, I like him and not many successfully defend at Mania. Him challenging is too predicable.

Cool stipulation for the title match at the Rumble. Kinda leaves Mania WIDE open, though. Which is also interesting. Honestly, this is why I don't hate this idea. If Reigns does win it, it still creates uncertainty around who the #1 contender is.

Cena vs Roman is surely the main event though, I'm not a massive fan but it makes the most sense

Roman ain't winning the Rumble. This is happening so he can win the title at Mania. They're bound another d determined to have the crowd cheer his title win to end Mania. And to their credit they may have found a way.

Reigns dominates, being alone when entry 30 is about to arrive. BEHOLD. THE KING OF KINGS. HHH beats up an exhausted Reigns who came in at one but can't eliminate him on his own. Gets help to do so from whoever and even then, Reigns still almost holds on. Reigns gets his rematch at Mania. Nah, Trips will be entrant 31 just to add more screw job to it all.

Really now...if Reigns wins the Rumble I gotta ask...
What accomplishment won't that guy get? He'll already have won 2 Rumbles, possibly a third before his career ends. Already beaten the Rumble record. I'd be surprised if he isn't a future MITB winner. This guy is going to get record after record after record.

Reigns just isn't that over to really warrant winning the title back in the ME at Mania. I don't see that changing between now and then honestly. No matter how hard they try

HHH will win the Rumble as the last particpant with a Reigns/Hunter ME for the title at Mania . It got too predictable now. Should have just vacated the title. It would have made things more interesting. Yep. They've been laying the Triple H/Reigns match pretty thick since the tournament. And since they're not having the match at the Rumble, it's gonna be at Wrestlemania. I just don't see any other scenario playing out. They'll probably do the Reigns wins the Rumble, then Steph or Vince says it's a 31 man Rumble, then out comes Hunter, gets an assist from his wife and father-in-law and gets the title.

I feel weird that I'm one of the few being negative about the Rumble now. I'm normally so optimistic. Maybe if the last two Rumbles hadn't sucked so hard is be more okay with the title being on the line.

I'll take a wild stab at this. Roman picks #1 at the Rumble and somehow defies the odds and wins, thus winning the hearts of everyone. And by everyone, I mean no one. Didn't Big Show already claim #1 this year?

No matter how hard they try If anything all this overcoming the odds thing being so contrived will make whatever crowd support he's garnered disappear again fairly quickly I think.

You know... they are putting so much into getting Reigns over. More then they've done for pretty much anybody else on the roster since Cena.
I mean good on them for trying, but I just have no faith in this company to make a main event level star.

I'm really interested in seeing what happens at the Rumble. Lots of cool ideas of have been thrown around. Reigns loses but gets his rematch at Mania. Reigns wins, putting the #1 contender spot in question. The Authority just keeps adding extra participants, 31, 32, 33, 34, and so on, until one of them finally beats Reigns.
But, you just know it's going to be something that'll be obvious by the end of RAW next week.
