So I've had a recent yearning to play the first Black Ops. I've spent the last week replaying it, picking up a few more bits of Intel, and I've come to appreciate this game a lot more now than when it first came out.
I enjoy the story a lot more, and am fascinated with the way Treyarch handled Reznov. From a one off NPC in World At War, to a recurring character that we can never truly know is alive or not.
So what are everyone else's thoughts on the first Black Ops?

In terms of story progression, World at War to Black Ops is easily my favourite arc in the COD series, and I loved the mission to assassinate Castro and the escape from Vorkuta, though I would've liked to have seen a couple of levels been devoted to Mason's escape from Russia itself - there was a lot of missed potential there. The Defector is another good level.
I think I might replay Black Ops today, actually.
