Whenever I see the show's name, I think about Tim and Eric's 2005 trip to Comic-Con where they wouldn't stop talking about 3rd Rock.

See, I think of this:
Cuz this album was out a full two years before the show.
Joe Diffie deserves more acclaim honestly; not for this necessarily, just in general.

As a kid who was surrounded by 90s country, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who remembers this. Plus, I always naively assumed the song title inspired the name of the show.

I was disappointed as hell it wasn't the theme. I mean hell, it was right there.

Now you guys are making me want to watch this show. I was not an avid watcher, but I have seen episodes and they were funny.

For some reason, I thought it debuted earlier than January 1996. Like, a year earlier or something.
Anyway, for as successful as it was, it sure is forgotten today.

Dennis Knight had one of my favourite lines ever in that show.
"Are you gonna rock my world?"
"Well you're certainly in for a jostle."

Posted this during the Twilight Zone Marathon when Nightmare at 20,000 feet came on but I love this bit.
Though I wonder how many kids got that joke... I know at least one person I showed it to didn't.

I know at least one person I showed it to didn't. I actually did get that as a kid, but only because I saw that part of the Twilight Zone movie on TV. Oddly, that scene randomly popped into my head the other day.
