I've been getting into this show lately. It's nothing that special, but i find it enjoyable enough and a solid comedy. I actually think the supporting characters at the hospital are more entertaining than Ken and his family though (plus, nothing involving Dave Foley can be considered bad IMO).

Yeah, the show's not special, but I don't think it's bad either. Get a few laughs here and there. Mostly from the workplace section, you have sitcom veterans like Dave Foley and Tisha Campbell-Martin who know how to get a laugh from any line. The family stuff is weak, mostly the rebellious daughter stuff that's been done a million times.

Commercials made it look painfully unfunny, but I'm giving the show a chance in February because there's gonna be an episode with Joel McHale and Danny Pudi as guest stars.

I actually didn't know this was a standard sitcom; assumed it was a more Community-ish filmed comedy.
It's been decent. Nothing genius, but considering the standard sitcom seems more rarified these days, I like it a bit more because of that feel.

I feel like Hangover and Community sorta hurt Ken Jeong. We all know he's legitimately intelligent and is likely smart enough to portray a more straight-headed character like he does in Dr. Ken. But most people think he's a goofball performer.

But most people think he's a goofball performer. Hangover was my intro to him. Ruinous. So I had nowhere else to go with him but up. Community was absolutely an up. This sitcom has, after a couple eps, made me forget what a Hangover even is at least.
