I bought my brother Wrestlemania 31 when it came out (I was saving it to give him for Christmas). I forgot I bought it, and bought another copy on Black Friday. It ended up working out, because I gave the extra to my mom's friend for her son.

I bought two copies of Primus' greatest hits.
Mostly because it was designed to look like a pack of cheese and opening kinda ruined it.

I've bought remasters of U2 albums I'd already owned. It's not really that unusual. Here's the kicker-these CDs aren't an improvement my old copies were also worn out.

only things I've ever really bought twice would be films on dvd when I bought a ps3/ps4/xbox one and wanted the bluray version of them.

LOL @ collector hoarders. (no offense)
If I have it, it's fine. I don't need additional same things in plastic wrap. I'm not a museum.

Yeah I do that.
I bought Dragon Age Inquisition and then I moved to the PS4 and bought the game of the year edition for the free DLCs that weren't avaiable on the PS3.

I must have bought Bob Marley's "Survival" about 5 times because I kept losing it, only to find it again and then somehow lose both before they showed back up again.

Also forgot to mention I've bought Star Wars far more times than I am comfortable admitting

I've done this
I recently bought A Clockwork Orange on bluray even thought I had it on normal DVD
I did that because not only does it have the traditional benefits of being a bluray DVD there are a ton of extras on it and the only special feature on the normal DVD was the trailer
