Been mentioned a few times on here but no real thread dedicated to it. They're my absolute favorite thing right now:

Meh.
Cheap cash-in on the BABYMETAL craze. Also, one of the girls in this group is only 15 but does some really sexualized things with that guy in photoshoots in stuff. That's kind of creepy.

I like the parts where the girls are singing, but not so much the guy that sounds exactly like every singer from a death metal band right now.

Agreed on the cash-in thing as LadyBeard himself has basically said that. The other issue is a bit more complicated. Yeah, the girls sexualized and it is a bit uncomfortable but I legit like the music. I think the pop-metal fusion works out well (hence why I don't really care for BABYMETAL as they are basically straight up metal.)

I consider BABYMETAL to be a fusion of metal, pop, dubstep, trap music and even reggae. Probably why I love them, it's something that shouldn't work at all but it just does.

Ladybaby is riding the popularity of Babymetal , but they manage to make it their own thing. The group has their own distinct sound and look. The way it blends together is part of their success too. After the outlandish image of a grown man being part of an idol group wears off, you're left with some good music. Even more apparent when you consider how others who have tried to ride the wave have fallen flat on their faces. Notably Joshi Kamen and the outright kpop knock off version that is Pritz.
