I went to a Miami house show about 2 weeks before WM19. The match was the FBI vs. Sgt. Slaughter, Brian Kendrick, and Sean O'Haire.
Sean O'Haire really shined in that match. By the time his team won the crowd was really behind him.
Problem is O'Haire was appearing in tv promos at that time, as a HEEL.

Diesel vs. Yokozuna in a steel cage match. Yoko had already wrestled twice on the show (it was TV tapings with some non-televised matches mixed in). Yoko was subbing for an injured Sid. They tried to do the Hogan/Orndorff photo finish, as the finish, only much slower considering the people involved.

I saw Del Rio (before he had a gimmick and was still wrestling as Dos Caras) wrestle William Regal in a dark match before Raw in the UK in April 2010, as well as Dean Ambrose vs Alex Riley in April 2012.
It's strange to see where both those guys are now.

The first match of the first house show I went to saw Rhyno take on The Brooklyn Brawler.

Crush vs. Skinner in 1992. What made it weird was that Kona Crush hadn't debuted yet-here he was still Demolition Crush, despite Demolition being off TV for nearly a year.

Not sure it would be considered "weird" but a 1996 WWF house show I went to had babyface HBK vs. heel Austin, and Michaels spent a large amount of the match laying across the top ropes in the corner.

Barry Horowitz vs Boris Zukoff and Barry won. And this was years before he got his first win in Global and then again got his "first win" over Candido. When Barry won he got the second biggest pop of the night. The biggest pop was for the main event. Which was IC champ Rick rude vs Warrior. Warrior won and was announced as the new IC.

"In July of 1996 the WWF crew was delayed from making it to a house show. To stall for time Duke "The Dumpster" Drose and Aldo Montoya worked against each other for FORTY FIVE MINUTES."

I saw Ray Rougeau take on the Brooklyn Brawler in March of 1993. They said it was Ray's birthday so we sang Happy Birthday to him.
Birth name Raymond Rougeau Born February 18, 1955 (age 60)

Umm...the closest thing I got is that at a WCW house show I went to, I was in the front row and I could've sworn Big Josh (Matt Borne, Evil Doink, etc) was hitting on my mom. I was like 8 at the time, but even then, I could tell. He was walking around the ring and went straight up to my mom, smiled, and shook her hand despite her not even sticking out her hand hoping touch any of the wrestlers.
If my mom was still alive, I would've gotten on to her for not sleeping with him so I could brag that my mom f***ed an evil clown.

That would probably be David Otunga vs Santino Marella. The match itself wasn't really weird, but before the match I got to watch Otunga making a bunch of muscular poses to some random music. The routine seemed to go on for hours too. I guess it was some kind of gimmick they were trying out that ultimately went nowhere.
On the same card I also saw Jack Swagger vs Brodus Clay, which was not very good, and Michael McGillicutty against Seth Rollins. Yes, this was before the Shield AND Curtis Axel. Also, that one was probably one of the better matches of the night.

Jean Pierre Lafitte vs Virgil in 199frigging5. Yep, I may have been at the same house show circuit. This may have been before his official TV debut

I saw the Hardcore Championship change hands four times in one match in July 2002. Bradshaw to Justin Credible, Spike Dudley, Big Show and back to Bradshaw.
A few months earlier, Hulk Hogan worked his first WWF match in almost nine years... against Rikishi. This was during the buildup to WrestleMania X8. And yes, Hogan took the Stinkface.
Weird in retrospect: Randy Orton vs. Shawn Stasiak in November 2001. Stasiak won with a figure four.

I don't remember who they were wrestling, but at the first show I went to, I had the ultimate pleasure of seeing X-Factor. It was July 15, 2001

"In July of 1996 the WWF crew was delayed from making it to a house show. To stall for time Duke "The Dumpster" Drose and Aldo Montoya worked against each other for FORTY FIVE MINUTES." Did the Clique tell Aldo to "kill this crummy town"? You win. I would have left after 20 minutes.
