Unless I dreamed it, for one week, The Vaudevillains called their finisher "The Gentlemen's Congress." I have no idea what it means, but it's way memorable than the generic "Whirling Dervish."
Any other examples of this?

Barrett's Bullhammer was called The Souvenir briefly.

Swagger's Patriot Lock was briefly known as the Patriot Act.

If I recall, Big Show's KO punch used to be called "WMD". I personally would prefer something like "The Frying Pan" since they used to love comparing his hands to them.

Swagger's Patriot Lock was briefly known as the Patriot Act. Man, this gimmick was just SO good for about a week.

They tried calling the Alabama Slam the "Hollycaust" in 1999. Yeah.

They tried calling the Alabama Slam the "Hollycaust" in 1999. Yeah. Funny part is, is that man is exactly the person behind the name. Also thats the most beautiful gif of all time.

That weird transition period between Cena's finisher being formerly known as the FU to its current name, the AA. Said move was just called "going for the Victory" during this time.

They tried calling the Alabama Slam the "Hollycaust" in 1999. Yeah. It was actually the Falcon Arrow.

Every once in a while they had a problem calling the Sweet Chin Music the Superkick. It's like calling Cena's AA the Standing Fireman's Carry Takeover rather than the AA.

Can anyone confirm if the Mandible Claw performed by Dude Love was ever called the Love Handle? I've heard it called 'Mandible Claw' even when it was done by Dude Love, but I've read online that it was called Love Handle when Dude did it. I can't ever recall it being called that, and I know I've heard it called 'Mandible Claw' when Dude used it.

Devil's Advocate Sean O'Haire's finisher was called "The Prophecy" for a little before being renamed to the vastly inferior "Widowmaker".

If I recall correctly, at one point Naomi may have called her finisher "the Rear View". But don't quote me on that.

The Undertaker's 'Hell's Gate' submission was briefly called 'The Devil's Triangle' if I remember correctly.

After Bradshaw transitioned into JBL, they tried renaming the Clothesline from Hell into the Clothesline from Wall Street. It didn't last.
