I'd support a heel turn and Authority alliance if he showed up clean shaven, with a haircut, and wearing a suit.
The three sins of betrayal.

No one's cheering Roman over Bryan. The fans will just go into attack mode like when they tried to make him a Wyatt.

WWE, as is, doesn't deserve Daniel Bryan.

All I can say is that if they clear him to wrestle but have no intention of him appearing in and winning the Rumble, then they better keep him being cleared the biggest secret since what we really found during the moon landing. If the fans get even the remotest idea that Bryan might be there and he doesn't show up or doesn't win, we could get another near riot. We found rocks at the moon landing.
Trouble is, we've got rock. That was the one thing we didn't need!

can we please not do it to ourselves this year? I don't necessarily agree with what you're saying, but I still find the sincerity of it so refreshing

The injury bug is hitting WWE talent hard, and WrestleMania at a big stadium is only a few months away. I guarantee Daniel Bryan will pass Wellness whether he should or not. Now what they do with him after that is another story.

If Bryan ever wrestles again he needs to take a lesson from Stone Cold Steve Austin after his neck injury. Bryan at this point is more than just a phenomenal wrestler. He is a character people want to pay to see. He also has injuries that could affect the quality of his life. Just like Austin changed his move set after the broken neck so should Bryan change his immediately. No more diving through the ropes. No more diving headbutts. Stick to suplexes, submissions and strikes.

Stick to suplexes, submissions and strikes. I honestly think this would make his matches much better to boot. A more grounded, strike and submission based style would do wonders. He doesn't need to do unnecessary shit anymore to get himself over. It's like Orton said about Cena being stupid for doing dropkicks when he doesn't have to. It's just a dumb risk and his matches are just fine without it.

I hope that if he's cleared he really is feeling great and healed. I miss him.
Has there ever been a superstar injury with this much press and fan concern?

Rumble ends. Roman stands tall. Suddenly, the "Balor Club" runs in. They attack Roman, they have him down. Bryan's music hits. The crowd goes insane. Bryan's here to save the day. He barrels down to the ring, where Styles, Gallows, Anderson and Balor have Reigns. And Daniel Bryan kicks Roman's face off. Daniel Bryan turns heel. Yeah, "heel", let's go with that...
