So recently I got an iPod Nano 30gig and it's working fine and all.
But I honestly can not figure out how to upload video to the thing. I've tried every possible scenario via iTunes (unless it's meant to be done some other way), and every time I try to upload a video to it, it never works, nor does it ever display that it uploaded it. Is there some big important thing I'm missing here? Or do you have to "buy" your videos from iTunes or whatever (HAH!), anyway yeah, if anyone knows, I'd appreciate it, because I'm a n00b at this whole corporate whore contraption thing.

What format are your videos in? You didn't get them off ITunes, correct? That means they probably aren't MPEG-4 files. You can generally find file convertors online if you Google them.
EDIT - And iPods can only play MPEG-4 videos. It'll sometimes upload to iTunes anyway, but it won't transfer to your iPod.

Ooooh. That makes sense. I didn't know they had to be a specific file type. Thank you.

Next task: Find MPEG-4 converter that wont cost me anything because I'm a broke arse...um...arse. Especially with the holidays coming.
No such luck here, guess I'm gonna have to either find one and get a crack for it or just use a trial of one, but I hate using trial programs (other than WinAce since it's just like..."hey um..would you mind paying for me now? No? Ok...lol..it's cool buddy"), but the ones that'll shut down after the evaulation period just feel like a waste of HD space.
