Tonight, her entrance pop and her non-verbal charisma confirmed for me that really the sky is the limit for her. She's got the ring work that satisfies the wrestling purists, the passion for the business that can make her a leader in the Divas locker room, and the unique look/sex appeal that appeals to the WWE bookers.
She's still young, and hasn't been on the main roster too long, but is it too much of a stretch to think that she might just have all the tools to potentially be a star equal to or more than Trish?
Don't get me wrong, I think Bayley still has the potential for a wider appeal in that she would attract the same kind of young female population that AJ Lee attracted. However at her peak, Trish truly had that "women want to be her, men want to be with her" feel that perfectly encapsulates that age 18-36 demogrpahic WWE craves, and I think that with her in-ring skills arguably having eclipsed Trish's already, Sasha could be setting herself up to be 1A/1B in the Divas division for the next few years.
Thoughts?

Honestly I have no clue. If they get serious with the Divas stuff, she could be bigger than Trish. I just don't know if she will be around or have the good will of the crowd by the time Vince decides to run with it or Hunter gets the power to do it.

She has the ability to break the glass ceiling. Already had the main event on a special and got what may be the loudest women's pop I've ever heard tonight...and she has barely been featured on the main roster. She has "it" without any question.

Probably about where Paige is now. Multi time divas champ, possibly on total divas or a random wwe movie.

I think that the advantage Sasha Banks has on Trish Stratus compared to the moment Trish arrived on the scene is that Sasha had the opportunity to hone her skills rather quickly, thanks to NXT. She's more equipped to brave the storm and she can do exactly what you're looking for.
Now, as to if she can surpass Trish, I'm not sure. Sasha's got big shoes to fill. But it's not that much of a stretch to believe she can be as great as Trish Stratus was in her prime.

Lets say she has some musical talent, after all, it runs in her family. You can have her do an album.
She could cross into the mainstream and be a pop star. I truly believe that.
If I had my pick of anyone on the roster, male or female, and I would have to be cost-effective, I would make Sasha Banks my first pick.
But I'm worried about her physically. She's small. She's very small.

The trend is to lead the division then retire after 4 or 5 years. So we'll see.
Nothing about her physical presence comes off as natural to me. I think Becky wins that round. But Sasha in the ring is great. Can't wait for her to get a chance to tear it up at a PPV

Understatement of the **********ing year. There isn't an arguably about it. Is it, though? It's not like Trish was a female Dean Malenko or anything. She was a good wrestler, really good honestly. Sasha is really good too, though. I think it's a completely fair argument.

Once you win the Divas/Women's Title multiple times, where do you go? Trish, Lita & others all retired by their early 30's cause they had nothing left to do (among other reasons I'm sure but still...).
Although the big goal should be main event a main roster WWE PPV. That's probably the ceiling. If any of the women can do it, it's Sasha.

After main eventing just any pay per view, you could want to main event one of the big four. You could want to main event WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey....

Lita's spot as Biggest Female Star of All Time may be in danger. Which is as big a compliment as I can give her.

Honestly, think it's about time WWE looked into expanding the Divas division. Add, say, tag titles, and maybe as more call-ups happen and they get the numbers for it introduce a midcard title of sorts. As it is part of the reason no Divas seem to hang around very long is that there's a very limited ceiling - you win the Divas title, you've basically done everything there is to do for you in the company.

I agree with all of the responses here. There are definitely questions about Sasha's ability to take the punishment (she's seemingly be off and on the injured reserve a bit lately) but even in that case, much like Trish and AJ Lee did, Sasha could easily slide into a managerial role when she's not wrestling, and still be a big player.
Basically, she's 23 now, and with some hard work and luck, she could easily have an 7 or 8 year run where she racks up a few title wins, high profile feuds, maybe a partnership or two with male talent in the upper card feuds....all before she turns the same age as the Bellas are now.
That's a pretty good potential for top five Diva in my mind. And the Diva division in general looks pretty bright with Bayley (the role model babyface), Becky (the Hardy-era Lita style punk rock underdog chick), Charlotte (the superior athlete genetics, maybe Michelle McCool style heel) to compliment Sasha as the sort of complete package sports enterainer diva that WWE always wants to have. If WWE allows it to happen, this era could potentially eclipse any era in women's wrestling in WWE.

She will be closely associated with a group of women (because you need quality oppoments) who will be regarded as the best of all time. I see her in a Wm main event (as in the second to last match) for the Divas/Womens title next year. I think it'll happen. Sasha vs Bayley at WM would be magic.

She's honestly a future legend in womens wrestling if she's used right. She is so young and so talented she can essentially be one of the greats is she stays on track and healthy
