It might have got lost in the shuffle but I feel like this match deserves its own thread. Both of the guys were on and told a great story. There was a lot of psychology, a lot of great moments and it wasn't just a mindless spotfest which it could easily have been. Both guys had moments where they learned from a move that had been done to them once that match and countered it on the second attempt. I was fairly sure Ambrose was walking out with the belt but there were moments that I wasn't sure. The banter, the trash talk, the facial expressions were all on point and they sold it later that night in the rumble match and kept the heat and anger going. That interaction in the rumble actually kind of made the match better in retrospect. What could have been a random blow off match was two guys who just didn't like each other going to the limit for the freaking IC belt. Even the announcers were building up the belt.

I thought it was the best match all night except for the Rumble.

I thought the ending was kind of a weak in a certain, "Well, of course that was going to go wrong for you," kind of way, but it was at least done quickly enough that you didn't really have time to fully think about it.
Outside of that, yeah, fun stuff. Not the best match ever or anything, but a very fun brawl and had a level of energy more like what I was expecting out of the previous couple of Owens / Ambrose matches.
