On the one hand, turning him heel might be a decision that backfires considering his popularity. This would particularly be true if they go the predictable route and feud him with Reigns. On the other hand, the roster is in need of some solid heels and Ambrose certainly has the ability to cut a convincing heel promo.
Since it seems like this turn has been teased and worried about for months now, which way would you like to see it go?

It would be the dumbest thing WWE has done since....well, for a long time.
He is what they wish Roman Reigns would become, and the sooner they realise they already have exactly what they're trying to create, the better it is for business.

Worst thing they can do in this company right now other than keep Reigns face.

I honestly think Roman and Dean as faces is the way to go. There's no shortage of heels as it is.

On one hand, I want to see it because he's an incredible psycho heel.
On the other hand, it's kind of cool to see the guy kind of tone down the dark part of 'psycho' into more a likeable loose cannon and kind of reinvent himself to an extent.

In order for him to be a heel, he'd need a good enough babyface foil, and I'm sorry to say Roman isn't up to that task yet. Ambrose would still get cheered. You'd need someone with the babyface cred of say, a Daniel Bryan, in order for it to work to its full potential. And I can't see them doing that, so I'm gonna have to say no.

I do want Ambrose to fight Reigns, but for WWE to try to keep them both sympathetic...
...and yes, that means I want a match where Ambrose tears into Reigns like a maniac...then afterwards they both limp backstage and chat amiably while the medics dress their wounds.

It doesn't help to have Cole commenting in his generic salesman voice saying "Ambrose is cuhraaaayzeeeeey!"
I think if they put some work into it, they could pull off something similar to his indie character without crossing the lines of Network tv. The problem is, I just don't think they're capable of it right now. And thusly, face Ambrose is most likely the best option.

I'd hate it
1) I just don't want it 2) it'd be a f***ing stupid idea
A reigns heel turn is the most logical.....but it is WWE I'm talking about

It doesn't make sense to do.

Wouldn't be opposed to it happening eventually. But right now it would be the dumbest move they could possibly make, as Ambrose is massively over and there is a serious lack of credible faces on the roster.
And not to venture off topic, but remember how, when the Shield breakup was building up, everyone felt certain Ambrose would be the one to turn on his buddies-but it ended up being Rollins, who took to the roll like a fish to water. Could you imagine if it had been Ambrose?

He would be heel Jon Moxley and fans would cheer him.

After how great he looked at the Rumble, turning him heel would be one of the dumbest things WWE could possibly do right now.

He wouldn't be allowed to cut promos about burning the title into a powder and snorting it so it wouldn't be as good as it could be.

I'm not against the ideal, just not Reigns, and not now. The ideal way to do it would be wait for Rollins to return as a face and stand up to The Athority. He apologizes to Reigns and Ambrose and wants to re form the Sheild to take down The Athority once and for all. Roman accepts and Dean becomes "that guy" who just won't let it go.

I don't agree with some of the comments that are stating Ambrose as a heel is "doom" for the company, but in respect to Reigns/Ambrose, Reigns is the heel out of the two. He is almost a carbon copy of Rocky Maivia. WWF pushes him no matter reaction, crowd backlashes, he turns heel and can get over massive. Recent history with Batista becoming Douchetista is another example of the crowd shitting on someone the WWE wants us to like as a face, but it doesnt work, but he kills as a heel.
Ambrose is the Austin archetype out of these two. He doesn't have to be a traditional babyface to be over as one. He's already over huge as a face. Reigns is barely over at all and flipping Ambrose isn't going to change that.
Reigns should be the one to turn. Push Ambrose as an Austin-type heel who takes no shit and is almost antihero. Rollins comes back and there's a ready made feud with Reigns being the corporate guy having taken Seth's place thus turning Seth to a babyface (which I think was going to happen at some point regardless of Reigns). It almost writes itself. If you need more faces, push AJ harder, bring Finn and/or Nakamura up as well with Ambrose and Brock as the head babyface alpha dogs in the meantime. There are more than a few ways to make it work.

Who cares? The guy has one of the lamest, corniest gimmicks on the roster.
