It's been awhile since Albert took over as head coach at the performance center. We heard little about his work until Breaking Ground debuted, and he seemed to be doing well. But do we know anything beyond that?
Last I heard - which was a long time ago - he was only interim head coach, and they were looking for someone to fill the spot full time. Is that still the case?

Seemingly, he's doing good. I do know he has teaching experience, anyway, and is apparently a very nice and patient guy, so I imagine he has at least been much less of a terror than DeMott.
I couldn't say for sure, though, without knowing who he has personally worked with, and how many improvements in ring skill we've seen since then are coincidental.

I believe that Albert, like DeMott before him, mostly works with the greenest of green wrestlers in the performance center. So it will be a while before we'll be able to see any results. Even then it will be difficult to judge since they have quite a few trainers down there working with talent before they even debut on NXT.

As long as his new job doesn't ruin the Tensai gimmick, we'll be okay.

I thought I read that they made him the full-time head coach.

Came across really well on Breaking Ground, and seems to be well respected by talent and staff alike.

well he hasn't sexually assaulted anyone so he's already doing a better job than Demott.

Nah, on Breaking Ground they showed that Brookside runs the beginners class, because Sabby got demoted back to it. I believe Albert is the head coach along with Regal and oversees basically everything that goes on. He seems to be doing a hell of a job.
