Jack Swagger has now competed in 6 Royal Rumbles and eliminated absolutely no one.
That has tied him with the WWE Record for "Most Rumbles Without An Elimination" with A-Train/Albert/Tensai.
Essentially, if Swagger can survive the spring, summer, fall, and winter cleaning the WWE may go through (Which, let's face it, due to injuries he has a chance), he could hold a WWE record in next year's Rumble.
....
So, I ask you, dear FAN
...
Theoretically,
...
Will Jack Swagger ruin the Lord Tensai record?

What's his total cumulative time in the Rumble compared to Albert's?

What's his total cumulative time in the Rumble compared to Albert's? 40:31 for Swagger 46:58 for Albert/A-Train/Tensai

Mega Lolz
Austin was also in 6 Rumbles and eliminated 36 guys, which is ludicrously (yet awesomely) high, when you consider Kane, who has the record at 44 eliminations, took 19 Rumbles to do so.
Anyway, even more ludicrous is Reigns is already on 22 eliminations after just 3 Rumbles. He's taking the record soon.

The chance to make Swagger serious has past. Let him be a goofball again and use his solid ring work to shake up some matches.

With all the huge influx of great talent recently, and also the established talent above him that is better than him, leads me to say he is completely obselete in 2016. There are better goofballs- Bo, Heath, Truth etc.

I think he'll survive the next wave of firings. He's not as dead as the likes of Fandango & Los Matadores. People still love the "We The People" deal.
That stat is more surprising when you consider that Matt Bloom under his various names has never eliminated anyone. If anything, in his prime, he would have been a candidate to get one of these multi-elimination performances, with his size and all.

This needs to be a stat the next time they do that NUMBERS promo. They could easily use it as a storyline next year, so they'll never mention it and have him dump Bo Dallas before stumbling over a gyrating Kofi and accidentally eliminating himself.

One of my favourite moments of each Rumble is that wide mouthed goofy look on his face as he sprints to the ring.
He disappointed me this year.

If he gets it, it's going to be a while, they've kind of cooled off on how many eliminations he's had per Rumble.

I never hope for anyone to lose their job, but if he eliminated someone next year or was released before the next Rumble even, he would actually fail at failure. And that would be amazing.

This kind of sums up his entire career if you think about it.

2017:
This exact stat is brought up in the numbers.
Swagger makes it his goal to dump a guy. He fails time after time.
30 minutes into the Rumble. Swagger flattens Del Rio. Sheamus beats down Swagger. Big Show knocks Del Rio flat out and over the the top with a right hand.
Sheamus then charges at a vulnerable Kofi after taking down Swagger.. Kofi ducks and flips Sheamus out.
A recovering Swagger gets to his feet and catches an elated Kofi off guard and clotheslines him out.
However, Kofi lands on Sheamus, on his hand and knees after his elimination. Kofi "surfs" on Sheamus, then steps on an unconscious Del Rio, and then to the steps, then up on the apron away from where Swagger just knocked him over.
Kofi gyrates his hips and pelvis. Swagger goes nuts. Big E is also behind Swagger doing the same, unbeknownst to Swagger. Swagger yells in Kofi's general direction. Big.E sneaks up and dumps Swagger over.
Swagger loses his mind. History made.

So the Royal Rumble match ruined Tensai/Albert/A-Train.
