Only LU can have the debuting wrestler lose in decisive fashion and not have it be done stupidly.
Also, I'm down for a possible Puma vs. Pentagon Jr. match down the line (maybe make it a triple threat for the title?)

Another f***ing round of applause this company just cannot do a damn thing wrong amazing.
A debut yet he loses unexpectedly
Puma and Pentagon may just be my favourite unlikely pairing...Pentagons give no f***s attitude and Puma throwing a fit everytime Pentagon just steals his thunder lol.
And EVERYONE coming for Mil Muertes from Ninja skeletons to aztec decendents to rockstars and machines..this is how a world title and its holder should be treated amazing stuff
An amazing debut trailer for the newest female to the temple really forward to her whoever she is as I could tell if that was cheerleader melissa under the mask.
And my MVP of the show...the sheer WTF of Marty yet so damn funny all proper and shit ...worst suburban neighbour ever.
And absoloute perfection laying even more of the ground work between Pentagon and Vampiro but now like I have assumed Striker is going to play significant role and is not going to surprise me if sometime this season IAN gets sick of being accused of helping Pentagon and has Pentagon break Strikers arm.

We all made jokes about the Gift of The Gods belt and the pendants that comprise it of being reminiscent of the Dragon Belt and the key symbols that comprise them from WMAC Masters. But now that Lucha Underground Champion Mil Muertes sits on his own throne like how the Dragon Star Champion used to, it's impossible not to see similarities between the two. I just hope season three doesn't end with a subversive invading force stealing the Lucha Underground Championship belt, and then we don't get a season four.

Let's not forget that Rey is finally coming, and is bringing a new Dragon Azteca with him.

This week and last week were like when Omar and Mike took the trash out when they were kids; good Eps. (RIP Harris Wittles).
But yeah, LU is crushing it. Mack vs Black was great. New characters made to look cool and JrPuma vs DoD was super fun.
Love this show!

I get the darkness is to sell Mil Muertes and Catrina being in charge but having to watch in SD, it just makes everything hard to see.

As is usually the case with a lot of shows, the season premiere is hot and the follow up episode slows things down a bit. That's what this one did but that's not a bad thing. This episode worked to set up some things down the line. We got three enjoyable matches, the Cage/Mundo build, more people coming for Muertes and the seeds planted for Pentagon/Puma down the line. Throw in Vampiro being great in his commentary role and the appearance of Rey Mysterio and you've got a good show.
I also love that Killshot got some shine and PJ Black seems to fit in perfectly in the Temple.

Killshot looked great and I thought he had it with that corner combo. Cage's return was neat but as a face, we'll see.
The Black debut was done so well. He looked amazing but overwhelmed by the Temple and it cost him as Striker was pointing out in the match. Brilliant booking.

I have a feeling that the situation with Pentagon, Jr. and Prince Puma is going to get pretty heated.

So, I take back my previous comment.
I legit think the payoff of the vampiro angle is a slow-burn turn to make Pentagon Jr a face.

Loved, loved, loved the show tonight! Sis and I hadn't seen Mack wrestle before so he was a huge enjoyable surprise. Thought the dynamic between Pentagon and Puma was fantastic, especially since Puma literally has no time for his shenanigans and Pentagon gives no dambs. Excited about the new female wrestler debuting next week as well. So much fun to watch. I wish it was longer than an hour. It's hard to imagine LU becoming a chore to watch ever based on what I've seen so far.

In a funny piece of news that will deservedly be in the LOLTNA pantheon.
"TNA apparently approached Lucha Underground about doing a joint show together and was turned down".

{Spoiler}Dragon Azteca Jr is Rey Horuz who is the real life cousin of Rey Mysterio and was the second Hijo del Rey Misterio. Good episode. Not a blowaway one but kept things moving quickly and advanced storylines. Pentagon Jr continues to being the standout. He is like the lead in a spagetti western. Puma is the good guy but comes off too goody in a world filled with rat bastards. Not a fan of handicap matches with the champions taking the L but a lesser evil in the Puma/Pentagon jr saga. Cage is now beefing with Mundo. Surprised Marty has not skinned Sexy Star yet. Guess next week I get to see who is playing the role of Kobra Moon. And I guess Konnan is not coming back unless Puma learned some resurrection spells.

TNA just wanted to do a TNA vs LU card with TNA winning in the end. Like ROH, they are not stupid and go along making their top folks look like geeks to TNA nor get their names tainted with their stank. TNA should had went back with GFW. They'll lose to anyone as long as the check clears first.

Some people in places are questioning over Black losing. King Cuerno, Jack Evans and Pentagon Jr as well as others lost their debut matches, he'll likely be fine. Though I would've had The DOD win the handicap match.
The only match I would've want to see between LU and TNA is Mil Muertes vs Spud just to see how many ineffective hits Spud lands on him before Mil kills him with one blow

My prize for that Twitter contest came in today. I thought it would be one poster, but it's THREE signed posters from Pentagon Jr., Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo!
