I decided to email this one girl I know after not really talking to her for more than a year, just to see how she was doing. While she was never the love of my life or anything, I at one point had a small crush on her. Well it turns out she's now engaged, and actually says her fiance looks like me (yeah, right. I saw his pic and we look nothing alike). Nonetheless, I couldn't help but feel somewhat bothered upon hearing the news. Maybe not as bad as Dante felt when he learned his ex was engaged in Clerks, but still.
So who else here has gone through this kind of emotion? Again, it's not like she was the girl who I wanted to give the entire "I never felt this way about anyone else" speech, but still. It's just kind of annoying.

Once things go sour, I burn the bridges and never look back.
That way I don't get to feel this kind of things.

Honestly? No. Mine usually are on a whole 'nother level. That was so mysterious I have to pry.

Ive been through this before but it was worse. There was this girl that I was absolutely in love with. She moved from me to go to college. I told her I was gonna go to the same school n we were gonna be together. She said ok but when I got up there, she told me she was engaged. A year later, shes not with the guy anymore n she keeps callin me sayin that she loves me and wishes I would come back up 2 school again (i transfered b/c of my grades).

You can't ignore me on here though. Please. You must do that thing you do...again.

I think I've been through this more times than I can count on my fingers, toes, and my pants around my ankles.
Ah well...their frickin' loss.

I've had that happen as well. People are in such a damn hurry to marry anymore. If It's love It's love but It's hardly ever love. Love that will result in a nondivorce, anyway. You can't do nothing but your own thing, I guess.
