March 21st, Memorial Gate in Wakayama resultsMain notes from the show: - Santa Maria retained her title with inadvertent help from Kotoka, who accidentally hit Tanizaki, costing the match. Following the match Tanizaki, in a fit, body slammed his stable mate. - MONSTER EXPRESS retained their Open the Triangle Gate titles after Tozawa pinned Kotoka with a German Suplex. - Takagi fended off Saito saving himself from being the only two time '0' defence champion. Following this, he brought out Kotoka, and the two cut Saito's hair. Doi was pissed at Kotokas screw ups earlier in the night which he claimed hurt VertserK's balance of power. Takagi argued that as long as he held the Open the Dream Gate belt, the balance of power was fine. But there was an apparent split between VerserK members as Doi, YAMATO, and Taniaki left on their own during Takagi's belt presentation ceremony. Card for the next Korauken Show on April 7thTokyo, Korakuen Hall 1. Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!!, Ryo “Jimmy” Saito vs. Yosuke♡Santa Maria, “Hollywood” Stalker Ichikawa 2. 7th April Gate of Passion results.Main notes from the show: - Hollywood Stalker Ichikawa was on the winning side of the opening tag match... seriously. - King of Gate was announced to be a 24 man round robin style tournament this year. Further details will be revealed soon. - Punch Tominaga's career was saved when Eita tapped Kotoka to the Numero Uno. Post match; Dragon Kid accepted Eita as his protege and joined OVER GENERATION. The two announced their intention to challenge T-Hawk and Big R Shimizu for the Open the Twin Gate titles. - VerserK's infighting continued costing them the main event, leading to an impromptu match where Mondai Ryu school boy pinned Cyber Kong in under two minutes (first Ichikawa winning and now this, it's bizzaro world tonight in DG). It was then announced that the annual Dead or Alive hair vs. mask multi man cage match would only consist of members from VerserK. An added stipulation also forced anyone who lost their hair to commit to being bald for 1 year.

Haven't followed DG in a few years. Have they had anyone new debut since Eita?

Haven't followed DG in a few years. Have they had anyone new debut since Eita? That's actually the point of the new stable Over Generation. CIMA and GAMMA(Edit: Oh, and Dragon Kid now, awesome) have taken Eita, Punch Tominaga, and a bunch of recently debuted rookies under their wings. It's a cool idea. Also, this King of Gate sounds like it's gonna rock socks.

Haven't followed DG in a few years. Have they had anyone new debut since Eita? So after Eita we've had; Punch Tominaga - Debuted a little after Eita in 2011 under his real name, Chihiro Tominaga. Started off as a submission styled underdog and joined Shingo Takagi's -akatsuki- unit in 2012. After the unit disbanded he would turn heel upon losing a match forcing him to style his hair in a punch perm, and join MAD BLANKEY. He is currently a face in OVER GENERATION and is also Gammas protege. U-T - Debuted when he joined T-Hawk and Eita in the Millennials unit when they formed back in 2013. He's basically a jobber at the moment, and feuding with the most recent rookies. Big R Shimizu - Debuted in mid 2013 as Ryosuke Shimizu, under this sort of anime cop gimmick complete with painted on unibrow. He ended up joining BxB Hulk's Dia.HEARTS unit, and is now one half of the Open the Twin Gate champions with T-Hawk, as well as a part of MONSTER EXPRESS. El Linderman - Debuted in early 2014 as Yuga Haiyashi, and alligned himself with CIMA as sort of the anti-Millennial, during the period when the Veteran Army were feuding with the unit. Eventually joined their ranks after CIMA and co. were drafted into heel unit MAD BLANKEY and took the name El Linderman to fit in with the units Mexican theme. DG clearly have a lot of hopes for him in the future. He recently defeated T-Hawk who not only is one half of the Twin Gate title holders, but was also the last golden boy, who unfortunately didn't quite make it. Takehiro Yamamura and Kaito Ishida - debuted together mid-late last year. They haven't done a whole lot yet, but they seem to like Yamamura. Internationally they've also imported luchadores Flamita and Rocky Lobo, both who joined the Millennials. Neither are currently on the active roster. ~ Also 2016 King of Gate brackets are as follows: via iHeartDG.comIn addition, the Dead or Alive mask contra hair cage match explained: To escape the wrestler must take one of 5 flags posted on top of one of the corners of the cage.

Interesting news today. CIMA and Stalker Ichikawa's match today was made into an impromptu Owari Title decision match. CIMA won the fan decision, but turned down the belt and gave it to Ichikawa. Stalker said that would interfere with him being in King of Gate, so he offered his spot in the tournament to Punch Tominaga, who was lucky enough to be at ringside. So, long story short, Ichikawa's the new Owari Gate champ, and he's out of King of Gate, and Punch Tominaga's in.

Interesting though that we'll now get Takagi/Tominaga match out of it. Shingo's probably going to kill him. But hopefully Tominaga hits at least one PT Kick in retaliation for being forced into his slavery.

D'awww. <3
Also, the "Wassyoi(!)" version of the Jimmyz theme was released on iTunes under 'Jimi no Satisfaction! ~Wassyoi!Ver.~' by JimmyZ. It's the normal Jimmyz theme with the refraining part chaged to a wassyoi chant. Also it was a weird talking bit at the beginning that I think is trying to shill a DVD, I'm not too sure. It can be edited out pretty easily, but just be aware of that.

Dead or Alive 2016 resultsMain notes from the show: -The DoA cage match was wacky as expected. Featuring such things as Tozawa branding a water gun, Gamma and CIMA bringing out a ball launcher, Mochizuki doning his strange gi and boxing glove attire, Saito bringing out a bag full of literal trash, and other strange weaponry. - VerserK's splintered nature proved not to be true, save YAMATO, who ended up on the wrong end of a six on one beat down during the main event. Despite that he was able to overcome his former stablemates and save his hair with some unexpected help from Kzy, Yosuke♡Santa Maria, and a healthy BxB Hulk. - Despite trying to escape the stipulation, Kotoka's head was shaved. As per the stipulations, he will not be allowed to grow his hair back until 05/05/17. - The show closed with a tearful YAMATO thanking Hulk, Kzy and Maria for their help and the four celebrating. It looks like that new unit a lot of us have wanted has come true. Pics below
