It's the reason I tuned into the last hour. Who cares about that vegan guy who doesn't own a TV, I wanna know where I can see The Miz and friends cracking wise in cars.

Oh, and the NERVE of USA Network to just casually air another show as soon as it was over. Couldn't they have had the decency to just go dark for, I don't know, a couple of days to properly observe the moment? You peaked with that second one. Try a few more. Some people may have missed the subtlety of the joke. Like, "how low class of WWE to tape a Smackdown! Episode tonight. USA should just run a two hour still shot of DB Thursday night!" ?

Ha ha, you know I'm genuinely surprised by the reactions here. I actually scrolled down before starting this thread because I thought someone else would have made this thread first, and I certainly didn't expect everyone to disagree with me. (Shrugs) just me then, I guess. Nah, I said the same thing in the Raw thread and people gave me shit for it. I guess it didn't take them out of the moment as much as it did for me.

Actually that would have been preferable to whatever that alien shit with Sawyer from Lost in is that they show after both Raw and Smackdown

I'm with you OP. With their business revolving around the network I was hoping they'd try to future proof their shows to some degree. So When people want to go back and see a historical moment in years to come that little plug is going to seem ridiculous.
It's a bit like when you're trying to enjoy some classic cruiserweight action from Nitro but the commentators are talking about the bloody NWO for most of the match.
That said I understand the whole "the show must go on" mantra, although I think some in WWE management misunderstand it as the Big Show must go on, and on, and on...
