RAW is live from Anaheim tonight, and it's the go-home show for Sunday's Fastlane PPV in Cleveland. With Daniel Bryan now an ex-WWE competitor, let's see what's in store for his ex-colleagues...
There's no Brock Lesnar tonight (although he will be on SmackDown this week for the first time in 12 years), so the only person for Dean Ambrose to focus on heading into Sunday is his old partner in The Shield, Roman Reigns. Last week on RAW, Lesnar dominated Ambrose in their confrontations, until Ambrose low-blowed the Beast Incarnate from behind, and ran. Ambrose is seemingly safe for tonight, but Reigns will want to make a statement, and he might have to make it in expense of his best friend.
AJ Styles is barely a month into his WWE tenure, and already he's suffered his first loss, at the hands of Chris Jericho. Following their great SmackDown match, they're now tied 1-1 in their series. How will Styles react, and will they be in action again with each other at Fastlane?
With her husband retired, and her sister out of action with a neck injury, Brie Bella finds herself on her own, heading into a big match for the Divas Title against the champion Charlotte. With all the emotion following Daniel Bryan's retirement, you wouldn't put it past Charlotte and Ric Flair to take advantage of matters, and use it to put pressure on Brie. Could it potentially be Title vs. Career on Sunday?
The Dudley Boyz are suddenly Table Free, following last Monday's turn on The Usos. Angry that they were initially left out of their signature match, Bubba Ray and D-Von took it out on Jey and Jimmy, and then on SmackDown, they declared they will no longer associate themselves with tables, and will focus on winning back the WWE Tag Team Titles. What's the betting that The Usos will use tables against them?
Heading into their tag team match on Sunday, the singles series between Team B.A.D. and Team B.A.E. is tied up. Tamina defeated Becky Lynch on RAW thanks to Naomi distracting Sasha Banks, but then Banks gained revenge over Naomi on SmackDown. Will they simply swap opponents this week, or is there something new for the two teams to battle over?
All this, plus final hype for Kalisto/Del Rio, the Wyatt Family's drive against the Titans of the WWE, the latest in the Ziggler/Owens series... all that and more tonight at 8/7c on USA, followed by the return of the Stone Cold Podcast, with special guest The Big Show, on WWE Network!
