Yes I've gone ranking insane after posting the current groups. So for currently we pretty much have:
- Marvel Cinematic Universe (2008-now...as a reminder, despite not being Paramount and/or Marvel Studios proper, The Incredible Hulk fits in here...I GUESS Ang Lee Hulk too if you consider it a vaguely-referenced origin story in TIH?)
- DC Cinematic Universe (starts with Man of Steel)
- DC TV Universe (Flash/Arrow/Legends/Supergirl. A stretch, but couldn't 1990 Flash fit in here too, as it shares some bits of continuity...same Trickster, possibly a John Wesley Shipp portrayed Flash...)
- Marvel TV Universe (Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Daredevil...)
- Fox X-Universe Mk. 2 (X-Men reboot, starts with First Class and includes spinoffs)
- Fox Etc. Universe (Fantastic Four)
EDIT: I wonder if there should be a F4 Mk. 1 for the Jessica Alba films...
Now let's add the past/discontinued franchises:
- Nolanverse/Dark Knight Trilogy
- Amazing Spider-Man (Sony)
- Fox X-Universe, Mk. 1 (original trilogy, plus Wolverine's films)
- Spider-Man original trilogy
- Batman: the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher Universe
- Superman: the Christopher Reeve Universe (yes Superman Returns fits in here)
- Wonder Woman (Lynda Carter, Cathy Lee Crosby pilot doesn't count)
- Incredible Hulk (CBS series + TV movies)
- Batman (1966 universe...includes series, movie, AND Legends of the Superheroes or whatever that one-shot deal was. Heck you can put Adam West confronting Jerry Lawler in character in there too. Oh yeah Green Hornet technically...)
- Shazam! (Captain Marvel in Shazam! LA series + Isis)
- Adventures of Superman universe (AoS plus I Love Lucy ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-))
I'm sure I forgot some here and there too. So with all these factored in, what are you top all-time continuities?
