So in most Sports they that guy who even people that don't follow at all have still heard of. For example, I've never followed Basketball but I've still heard of Michael Jordan. So I'm wondering aren't I which Wrestlers past or present are people who have absolutely zero interest in Wrestling and have probably never watched it ever in their life are still likely to have heard of. The obvious one I imagine would be Hulk Hogan, good or bad, guys face was everywhere when I was younger and still recodnisable now. And of course he was pretty much in the news last year but not the reason he would probably like. The Rock - Considering he is pretty much more in the Movie industry these days and apart of the Fast and Furious Franchise. With that said however you would be surprised the amount of people who don't know The Rock and Dwayne Johnson are the same People. John Cena seems to be becoming a guy who you see a lot of outside of wrestling, it might also help there is currently a big Meme about him currently going around. Those are the 3 I can think of at this time. Who else are non fans likely to have heard of?, you guys probably know more about this than I do so do share

About 15 years ago I would say Goldberg, not so much nowdays. Roddy Piper was another one.
Daniel Bryan was close, I am on the fence on this. I can say that he is one of the few people I have seen people wearing a shirt of his, but then again, if I asked my mom who he was, she would reply "Who?"

In Britain I would probably say Hogan, The Rock and Big Daddy, with Mick McManus a close fourth.

In Canada everybody knows about Bret Hart. I once met a Canadian who didn't know who Bret Hart was. I was shocked. I once had a customer at the bar I worked at, a place attached to a tourist hotel, who was a woman of nearly sixty from Sascatchawa and when I said, "Most of my knowledge of your homeland is based in politics, hockey, and pro wrestling." it trigger a long discussion about the Hart family. It was dope.

Is Andre the Giant really hat famous today? With kids and 20somethings, perhaps not, but there's still a lot of older-than-30 non-fans in the world and he was very, very well-known outside of the ring. Up until about a decade ago, I'd have included Gorgeous George, but the age-range he'd best be know by is thinning out. You didn't list Austin but listed Cena...I would venture to say there are still more people out there that know Austin but not Cena. Others I feel would be high on a list of well-known by non-fans would include Randy Savage (thanks to his voice showing up in key non-wrestling places), the Undertaker and Sgt. Slaughter (in huge part thanks to GI Joe). Were they as well known as Hogan or Rock? No, but your chances of walking into a random group of people and at least a couple of them recognizing one of those names is pretty good.

I'd say Andre is still pretty famous due to Princess Bride being such a beloved film. A lot of people would know him due to that.
I feel like Savage is going to live on in a fashion even after his name has little pop culture relevance. He is "wrestler voice", just like Paul Lynde, James Cagney, Groucho Marx, and Peter Lorre have become almost archetypical and have been so often imitated for voice acting that even if you have no idea who they are, you know who they are.

From my viewpoint I'd say those two, Hogan, The Rock & Big Daddy You can tell wrestling's at a lull, you see none of it really in the general media like you did in the early & late 90's. None of it being on free TV like it used to be doesn't help either. I used to watch World of Sport & WCW on Saturday afternoon on ITV with my granddad & great uncle in the late 80's/early 90's so my general family & kids at school knew some names & of course Hogan was huge in the WWF Then the late 90's everyone seemed to know Stone Cold, The Rock & The Undertaker

In Britain I would probably say Hogan, The Rock and Big Daddy, with Mick McManus a close fourth. The only five wrestlers my Dad knows of by name are Hogan, Austin, Rock, Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. Make of that what you will.
