I think the next step is to get one or two of them into decent singles feuds, to push them to that next level whilst still remaining as a group. I think it's important to remember that whilst new day's act is based around comedy, 90% of their collective in-ring ability is not, which makes them credible singles opponents for anyone. Breaking them up just to attempt a singles push doesn't have to be the default way you get someone to that credible "WWE championship" level, Roman Reigns is in some way a prime example of this.

We may be leading to a Big E vs mark henry retirement match. which could help big e reach the next level

I can see people turning on Big E when he inevitably starts doing the type of stand up comic promos they make all the main eventers do since Rock (Cena, Sheamus, Roman), while Big E seems perfect in that role, you can only call someone booty and gyrate so many times.

Not because of Mark Henry or Big E as a talent, but because WWE went to the well too many times and jobbed Henry out to every big man getting the slightest push that anyone midcard or higher really doesn't gain anything from it. That's not gonna change just because he decides to "go home and be a family man" this time.
