But most of the kids today won't even know who the MSP ARE. The WWE's fan base is kids, with some adults who hang onto glory from the 80's, 90's, etc. No, it's not. Their target fanbase is kids, but most of their existing one is guys in their 40s. And those'll be the types shelling out hundreds of dollars for Mania tickets.

A WrestleMania audience would know who the Posse is/was.

But the terror is what makes it delicious! So... you are Pennywise? I will neither confirm nor deny that allegation.

I find it crazy how well remembered the MSP (mean Street posse not Manic Street Preachers) are.
They were only around for a few months but it just so happened to be right at the attitude eras peak in popularity.

Shane's fratboy friends. That music. Names like Pete Gas, Joey Abs... and that other guy. They didn't overstay their welcome. Haven't come back a dozen times. About the perfect storm of nostalgia, wrestling absurdity and entertainment honestly

I agree with the OP. On the other hand it's to the point where literally anyone who reminds me of when WWE didn't suck will get a nostalgia pop.

If they show up, it will be fun for the people that are fans of them. If they don't show up, it isn't a big deal, either.

Pretty sure this is the last drop of nostalgia available to be squeezed, so we should be in the clear after that.

What do you expect? It's WWEs fault they booked a match that is so...random so of course people don't take it that serious. Another point is they turned a match between 2 wrestling veterans last year that was supposed to be a classic into DX vs nWo overbooking so why should anyone take this serious, a match that looks like the SummerSlam main event in Season mode in WWF SmackDown! 2 for the PlayStation and not mark out for the Posse? WE'RE TAKING IT BACK TO 99', MOTHERf***ERS! Vince McMahon arrested, the war of the McMahons, the boss wins the Royal Rumble, the boss wins the WWE title, Undertaker is McMahon's pawn like during the good ol' Ministry days. Yep, it's 1999 again
