What do you expect? It's WWEs fault they booked a match that is so...random so of course people don't take it that serious. Another point is they turned a match between 2 wrestling veterans last year that was supposed to be a classic into DX vs nWo overbooking so why should anyone take this serious, a match that looks like the SummerSlam main event in Season mode in WWF SmackDown! 2 for the PlayStation and not mark out for the Posse? Vince McMahon arrested, the war of the McMahons, the boss wins the Royal Rumble, the boss wins the WWE title, Undertaker is McMahon's pawn like during the good ol' Ministry days. Yep, it's 1999 again Oh, no, no, it is NOT 1999 again until we have a stable break up then have the members have a directionless lawsuit about who owns the group's likeness. Could we bring it back some '99 WCW, too? I've been feeling like the product would do with a dash of existential ennui.

Its really sad that not everyone can appreciate the greatness of THE MEAN STREET POSSE! yea they get some mania time but its not like there getting there own match or even there own segment they might MIGHT run out and probably just get destroyed buy taker. Honestly what's so sad about that.

It's great if it's really '99 again as that means 2000 is just around the corner.
That sums up the WWE for years, always on the cusp of greatness like 999 but never quite getting there like 2000 (at least not consistently).

I'd be excited any year. Pete Gas gave us this incomparable moment when he choked himself at the 2000 Royal Rumble

They haven't been on the roster in years, not even at TNA so what does "CURENT YEAR" have anything to do with this, other than jack and squat???

I hope they don't blade. I HATE when wrestlers blade. It's moronic.

Who knew Christian's fan base had a thing for the Posse?

I won't dog anyone for wanting to see the Mean Street Posse but I honestly don't remember them being popular during the Attitude Era. I just remember them being there. Of course, I didn't go on message boards (just the occasional chat room) at that point.

It would be cool if they came back and got their asses kicked in true Mean Street Posse fashion. I mean that's what they were known for.

I'll take a throwback of 3 guys I haven't seen together on TV for 15 years as opposed to DX reunion #56 or the Old World Order...I mean at least these guys are slightly younger, make more sense with alignment and haven't worn out their welcome.
But hey, we wouldn't want to see Arn Anderson interfere in the match between Taker and Flair either, would we? That would totally be a forgetful and dull moment.

I don't blame them, this the same year that Triple H won the Royal Rumble and is currently WWE World Heavyweight Champion
